High Uric Acid Levels

Anyone else experiencing High Uric Acid Levels due to Tx? The dr put me on Allopurinol but when I take it I start to itch, and I've been so so lucky with NOT itching on the Telaprevir that I hate to get it started because of this additional drug. Any ideas? thanks, Mark
