Glad to hear you are feeling well Dave.
Worked out today for the first time in 8 days since I was traveling for work; nearly killed me but felt good afterwards.
We got a nice rain yesterday which got rid of all our pollen for a day or two. I will take it!
p.s. I'll check to be sure I've got my jumper cables in the pickup ... Thanx

HAPPYSPRINGEVERYONE!
It's a grey (<-- For our English speaking friends), cloudy, drizzly day here now that it's Spring, yesterday it was Winter and the sun was shining bright ... go figure.
All goes well here in Ribaville, nothing in the least unexpected, 3 more days and I get my last shipment of meds ... that's a landmark I've been wanting to reach for a while now. Eating some greens yesterday seems to have made me feel a bit better today, they really do work to help carry the toxins away, I swear by them now %&*?<!
Truck battery appears to be holding up fine after a long trickle charge, I guess you can get away with leaving the lights on once but I hope not to repeat that or it'll kill it for sure. I think my pickup has a buzzer that should go off when I leave the lights on but apparently it's not working (it's a 94 ... stuff happens).
Speaking of batteries, sunny days over the past few seems to have recharged mine ... two more days and it will be 9 weeks.
Hope everyone is doing Ok, pretty slow day here at the forum.
Be Well,
Dave

Tnx Tig,
Tomorrow is a home day then Monday I have to drive 180 (round-trip) miles to take Jo to a specialist (East and North of here) ... ride will be a breeze, however, we'll take the Camry this time and with four brand, spankin' new tires, siped and balanced the ride will be smooth and uneventful, it's an old car (1984) but it was my Dad's car and he took extra special care of it and it still runs like a champ with only 184000 miles on it, heck it's got another good 150000 miles minimum left on it the way I drive. (Probably only 2000 miles per year max).
Tuesday I go West to get my glasses but that's an easy 40 miles round-trip I'll probably take the pickup to see how the recharged battery works.
All-in-all, I feel great ... maybe it's just seeing the end of Tx is near or like I mentioned before, I could just be getting used to it ... pretty remarkable how the human body adapts ... now if I could just get my mind to follow that strategy ... I say some of this in jest, I WILL be OH so glad to be done with this Riba carp!

Those flux capacitors are hard on batteries, go with a UPS battery backup next time, you may get an audible warning before it detonates! Glad to hear you're staying watered and planted close to home. Just take it easy, you're coming up on the end of the line pretty soon, let's keep this train on track!
I finally got Win 10 installed on this netbook from Win 7 Starter, a nice difference but have to order more RAM for it now. It only has a single gig on it and I can install one more, it's on the way. It's not going to be anywhere close to that SSD speed, but it'll make a nice extra system to have for backup. I don't know how you write all those scripts to make yours do all that stuff. I know enough to get myself into trouble! I'm still working on understanding that Linux OS I installed on my desktop. I just pretend I know what I'm doing and ask all of you geeky types how to do the rest, lol! I bow before the masters.....
Stay tough buddy!

EOT-minus 24 ... and counting ... (two more days and you're halfway SF!!)
Nice day today, sun was out and shining bright.
Don't know if I mentioned it here or not (must be the fog) but I ran the battery on my pickup down to dead by leaving my lights on the other day. Put the charger on it and it looks as though it's fully charged again, I'll leave the trickle charger on it for another day to be sure but I think it survived the trauma.
The new hybrid Flux-Capacitor/ Warp Drive arrived in the mail today so I installed that and set everything up to optimize using an SSD ( Solid State Drive). That took a while but I got it. Set my old HDD up as a fast backup. Wrote script for one button backup of all partitions ... all set now. This thing is FAST ... !!
Made up a large, primo Mediterranean salad for dinner and drinking LOTS of water.

Good morning Syd,
The call was weird and it was to inform me about my C. Their computers had changed over the years and when I questioned them, they did indeed have it noted that they see it from 2001 when I was first detected. They had no information as to whether I really knew and it is their job to inform people as a fail safe if the Dr. does not give complete advice.
There was no VL done on my C however the tests that were sent to them were about my B VL thus the confusion. I was told by them, they don't see a B VL as of now and the C was never requested. This brought me to the point that I called them back yesterday to find out on what result were they calling me and it was in fact the March 8 blood work. Still a mystery since there was nothing on the requisition about HVC.

Hi guys,
wlmj1960,
thanks for that advice, I have often thought the same thing as you have - give me some bloat any day over permanently damaged kidneys. So today I'm going to increase my fluid intake and see how much more bulbous and generally unattractive I can get!
SF,
i don't understand your call. did t,he bureaucracy make it in error or did they move on to reassuring you re viral load?
Dave, cataract surgery sounds like great timing at this stage.
As does the ripping down traffic lights movement. Although here it's not so much the lights as the traffic cameras that need to be removed. Under the guise of road safety thousands of these have been stalled around the city and on freeways etc. if you go through a light that is deemed to be stale orange it's a $300 fine and 3 demerit points. It has become nothing more than a revenue raiser for the state gov. If you are unlicensed, steal a car, drive dangerously and end up crashing into somebody's property you get a fine that's not all that much bigger than for a red light camera. And guess what? It makes me MAD!
But we did finish a seriously over decorated Minnie cake yesterday and I've just got to find the energy to get off to the suoermarket to get stuff for salads and cup cakes. Minnie took it out of me!
I know Cinnamon girl, you must be thinking rash can't be all that bad if she hasn't even looked at the page I suggested yet. After a day like yesterday I am reduced to mostly lying down. My daughter is 30 weeks pregnant and really feeling the effects of three babies in three years. I am so worried about not being able to give her enough help. I do have more energy than before treatment but then I was quite bed ridden. I'm so glad I am getting better but I'm saying faster body, faster.
Have good weekend you guys,

Dave, You are getting there so quickly now and I am very happy you are dealing with the sides more easily now. It is amazing what some sleep and nice weather can do especially when the end of this ride is so close now. Sorry about your data loss. I can relate. I have a 5 computer network at home... Yes 5
Mike, It's great to hear you are feeling better now. Good news is always welcome and makes me happy.
I have been checking in here and reading very often but it has been difficult to post although I am well. The curves balls thrown sometimes just get you annoyed so it's best to read and keep quiet.
Oh guess what? I have Hep C ... Yes, The public Health Dept. called me yesterday to let me know and give me some advice as to what I should watch out for blah blah blah! It turned out well in the end but gave me a scare hoping my HBV VL test was done and not HBC in error although I would love to know that result. I think I get it now ... No HVC DNA because other than my piece of mind it really does not count however if there is a reactivation of my B, well we need to move to plan B. It seems that after 4 weeks, I am still good. I am very happy with that thanks to the odd call I got about my C. They did check for me and confirm (I hope) that it is still thought to be cleared. I will let the Harvoni take care of my C.
Well so much for not posting
Everybody take care, have a great weekend.

Takin' Jo to the doc today, was hoping to pick up my new glasses while there but evidently they aren't ready yet so the first chance I'll have to go again is next Tuesday.
Got a call from the cataract surgery clinic and my PCP sent them a referral, I told them to hold off until July (which is when I'll reach SVR). So that's actually pretty good news because I think in order to get a referral my insurance has to approve it.
As far as HCV meds, shipment next week wil be my last batch ... I'm pretty used to sides by now so no bid deal with that ... seeing only 25 days left feels pretty good though.
Well, we're off to doc and wally world (fun fun ... LOL).

It's a fine balance between becoming bloated with fluid and keeping hydrated enough to ensure kidneys are not being too damaged by strain.
I had an issue with my doctor restricting my fluids and prescribing me Lasix. I told him I'd rather take my chances with a possible infection from paracentesis to drain the ascites fluid rather than end up with failing kidneys. I don't know if he agreed with me or finally got tired of me complaining about it but he increased my fluid intake limit which subsequently only caused minimal ascites fluid increase. Eventually I was taken off of the lasix too. That's just me but stay on your doctor about monitoring this so you don't have to be dehydrated unnecessarily.
I'm sorry you are having to deal with the Sx's of that Ribacrap. It takes time to get processed out of your body but you should be getting at least some relief as each day away from it passes. After 24 weeks of it, looking back, I believe it took longer than 6 months for me to get completely back to normal, but I did. You will too and when you get that SVR report you will be glad you trudged through this. Dave is right about those green smoothies to help clean that crap out of your system. He got me started on them and now I'm hooked because I like the way they make feel more energetic and less toxic from my crappy HIV medications.
Keep up the excellent work Syd. You are doing a stellar job!

Hi Syd, just thought I`d chime in here.. sorry you`re suffering so badly with the riba itching, I sympathise, it`s a horrible side effect. it`s a horrible drug actually, but it does work! Don`t forget that it takes riba about 6 months to fully clear from your system, so do what you can to ease it in the meantime. If you type in `itching` into the search box at the top centre page, you`ll see a whole list of previous discussions and tips on how to deal with it.
Ditto with the riba rage and emotional ups and downs, it doesn`t last forever, thankfully!
Dave, I love that idea, can you imagine if all the riba ragers in the world got together, they could start a revolution!
Keep going, folks, you`re getting it done.

T-minus 26 ... and counting ... <-------- PLEASE NOTE: For those who are sticklers about these things ... The proper "Houston Terminology" has be used.
Hiya Syd,
Sorry to hear that you're still feeling the effects. Remember that you 'are' still taking the other meds and it really hasn't been very long since you quit the Riba (what, only a couple of weeks now) ... so do give it time and keep a log of where all the fence posts are as you get stuck behind the "90 year old drivers in front of (you) who take so long to find first and dribble around the corner that the arrow's gone red just as (you) get up to it." I'm actually a bit surprised that there hasn't been a full fledged Riba Revolt against stop lights worldwide, to tell you the truth ...
I can see the headlines now: Raging Ribaheads Reunite in Ripping down Red Lights
My advice, and I'm always "Full of It", is to not slack on drinking tons of water and eat lots of greens that help to remove the toxins from your system, "Come on down and try a Green Smoothie or Two" (... said with a Southern drawl, as the host of the Green Smoothie Ranch, of course) ... that should help some and if you're at all like me, you tend to get complacent about this stage of the game and slack on some of the tips and tricks that got you this far. Your daughter sounds like she's got a bit of your wit and sense of humor ... LOL, ya gotta love it.
Here's to feeling better, as I grab the brim of my fine Stetson® and take a sip of my Green Smoothie ... then laugh so loud it makes your teeth rattle. (I know, like cringe already, Right?)

Hi all,
Dave - so good to hear you sounding so chirpy. Having that last batch of meds is a great reminder that tipping these poisons into your body is really only for a relatively short time. RIBA warps time and reality.
Decided today that maybe it hasn't really cleared my body at all. Still itchy as a horse with a prickle up its bum and no fence post around. Still yelling at 90 year old drivers in front of me who take so long to find first and dribble around the corner that the arrow's gone red just as I get up to it. Still have indigestion problems. After a life time of throwing anything vaguely edible or alcoholic down my throat this isn't something I expected. Also ache like a geriatric. Pain moves from my back, to hips to knees but always there - unless I'm flat on my back - which I often am. Energy of a soggy tissue. Soggy tissues are an issue as well - my daughter called me the town crier yesterday which I thought was a fair call.
Sorry I wrote to cheer you up, but have ended up whining instead.
Love Tigs steady navigational skills too. And as for Jimmy K - I had a very clear image of poor Carol waking up and getting the fright of her life. By this time I'm sure she has come home and told you you look wonderful. It's lovely to read about such a devoted man. I thought they were just in fairy books, but there you are on the other side of the world, writing a true romance for us with a bit of Gothic horror and a lot of humour thrown in.
take care you all.

I'm not like totally lacking energy or anything but my level of enthusiasm and drive not to mention stamina is not at it's peak right now.
I look forward to having the energy to exercise and eat well as I recover from the meds after EOT.

Pharmacy called today for my "Last 14 day supply of meds" (YAY ), said they'd deliver Mar 23 which works out perfectly.
Sure will be nice to get the last of my meds in hand ... if I had the energy I'd jump up and kick my heals together ... but, I think I'll save the ol' suspension system for EOT and SVR.
Did get some sleep last night, I took (2) 25mg Benydril's and a Trazodone to shotgun myself to sleep, LOL.
Yes, 27 and counting ... does sound much better than 57 days of drudgery out of 84.
---
Yesterday was a calamity of errors as far as computer stuff goes
I ALWAYS have Full Backup (done at least weekly) of all partitions on my computer's Hard Drive (HDD), so yesterday I was making some changes to my HDD in preparation for getting my new Solid State Drive (SSD). As I was making the changes I managed to corrupt one partition (my DATA partition with stuff from the last 10 years or so). No problem right? I have Backup ... Well, not so fast there Bucko, little did I know that my backup HDD would decide to puke and flat out die yesterday. So in my panic as I tried to salvage what I could ... LOL ... I managed to make my computer's HDD un-bootable ... ... Ya, Right?
Long story short, I lost the 10 years of Data ... (fortunately I have a separate partition for all Photos so didn't loose those) ... AND loose all backups AND make my computer a brick ... Nice Job Gismo!!
Now as terrible as this all sounds, my Data partition was mainly for work files, I was a self employed computer draftsman ... it really wasn't so bad. I also had archives of everything I've ever put on computers since the early 90's so there was tons of junk that I never, ever even looked at ... the only bad thing was that I had all my passwords stored in an encrypted file on the DATA partition ... so I lost those.
Well, I also happen to have all kinds of old junk Linux DVDs and thumb drives around so I was able to get my computers HDD bootable again salvage most of what was left. Since I'm now retired, I don't need the work files any more. I'm actually glad to get rid of all the clutter and archived files and I can figure out getting new passwords over time.
So I cleaned house and now am down to only 4 Linux distros (that's 8 partitions) on my computer plus PHOTOS and a new DATA partitions so I'm down to only 10 partitions on my laptop ... (don't ask how many I had before, just don't go there ... LOL).
Puter's up and running great today, meds are on the way next week, glasses should be done Friday, new Solid State Drive next week ... I'm on a roll ... and only 27 more days of Tx ... I'm blessed!
Hope your day's going as good as mine is today and a lot better than my yesterday.
Now, if I could just clear out our actual house, free of clutter like that I'd be in 7th Heaven ...
Life is Good,
Dave

Good Evening Dave. (In my absolute creepiest voice possible.) Ok, ok go with me on this.
CG mentioned a creepy story and said it helped her. "The scarier the better". So I wrote you one for around a campfire scene. Remember now brother, I am nuts so keep that in mind. Ok real dark now, campfire blazing, marshmallows and all that good stuff ok?
I have been,
a criminal,
A place to cast a stone.
One for whom,
You could easily blame,
When your life,
is found in flames,.
The guy whose fault it clearly is,
Where fingers point,
The fault is his.
Yeah thats me,
I am the guy,
12 in the box,
Say he should die.
But wring your hands,
When asked to pull,
The lever that,
Would kill the bull,
You pass that on,
Just want to see,
Someone else,
Put an end to me.
Youre a victim of
Yourself not me,
Its you who fear,
Self not me.
Have laws been written,
You would break?
Were your very,
Life at stake?
Or maybe those
You claim to love
Never a hawk
Always the dove?
Then I say
You deserve to die,
If before your loved ones,
You would cry,
Instead of standing,
As you should
If you truly
Were so good.
So grab your robe,
Of flowing black,
Sit in judgment,
And dont look back,
For if you do,
Youll see my eyes,
Then the sound
That vengeance cries
And the moment
Of your fear
I your reaper,
Will draw near,
Whispering,
Whispering,
Do not run,
Youll never see a rising Sun,
Your longest night,
Is here at last,
By the morrow,
You will have past.
Yes indeed,
Jimmys your host,
Around a campfire,
Id scare a ghost,
A flashlight under
My chin I keep,
But what the hell,
I can sleep,
Im off the Riba,
As youll soon be,
And until you are,
You can count on me,
To help you along
Those sleepless nights
With tales of darkness,
And horrid frights,
Cinnamon read
To pass the time
And 10 more minutes,
Are now mine.
To say I helped you
To get through,
Dave my brother,
Its me and you.
Now go to sleepLOL The Idiot.

Hey Dave,
hope you are feeling better today.i did find Jimmy K's method of counting down, rather than counting up, really helpful. And when they took me off riba the mental symtoms drained away quite quickly.
Another reason to be happy is that you haven't lost your sense of humour. and you just helped an old lady have a wonderful trip down memory lane. I haven't listened to Arlo Guthrie in years but back then we knew it so well that many of the phrases "and they all moved away from me on the group W bench" became incorporated in to our vocabulary.
New toys are a good distraction too. Especially if you can get a whole lot of pleasure from a super bargain that requires time to install.
These last days will speed by and you can look for to virus free life.
cheers,
Syd

The dreaded Riba effect, or one of them! When I was on tx I couldn`t sleep, couldn`t eat, couldn`t breathe...but at least I knew the drugs were working! And I fairly soon got back into my normal sleeping pattern once my tx was finished, luckily. I took to reading thrillers to get through those sleepless nights and worn out days, the scarier the better... for some reason!
I did get some sleeping pills to help towards the end of the 24 weeks though, when I was getting desperate, but with not too much longer to go, Dave, hopefully you`ll be able to cope. Do ask your doc for something to help though, if you need it. We do whatever it takes to get through!!

Sorry but all my answers rest in Christ. From there it is all about music and my girl. I am just a lil strange is all.

Hey buddy, insomnia is common for many on Ribavirin. I haven't slept right since ending treatment. Don't really understand it and neither do the doctors. They prescribe sleep aids and shove you out the door, considering it resolved. I can't remember the last time I actually slept in. I have to wonder if the dragon burning qualities of these drugs don't keep some parts of the brain more active than usual. Clearly something is different! I survived treatment by taking 20 minute naps 24/7. I spent a lot of hours on the computer. Most of it here on the forum sharing my sleeplessness! I was the forum stalker.....
Still am, ha, ha!!!

Brother when I was on the Ribacoaster sleep was not part of what was on the Menu. I used music and for me it worked. I know you like it so give that a shot.
Also I live in Houston.
Personally I don't see you at day 56 so much as T-Minus 28. When you approach it that way things get smaller not larger. Psychological approach sometimes has value.
The schedule is 84 and once past 42 it is down hill from there. Try it.
Your brother in battle.

Day 56 (8 weeks)
Couldn't get to sleep last night so am a bit of a mess today ...
,,, nothing important to do so I'm napping off and on and updating my computers which is pretty much mindless work and waiting for downloads.
All is good, not sure why no sleep ... just one of those nights, I guess.

Yes, they actually take my word for it, believe it or not ... I wanted to make sure I'm legal by getting my eye exam though. Requirement is either 20/40 with or 20/40 without correction and I have to acknowledge that I'm telling the truth, I could see how that might not be best in FL ... Florida is Geezerville to the max (I'm sure people here "fudge the truth" just as much as in FL but the percentage of those with poor eyesight in FL would certainly be greater ... therefore more fudging). I was a bit surprised I could do it online too, first year they're doing this, go figure. (Could just be rural counties, not sure ... I know there's a big push here to do whatever possible online ... cheaper than brick and mortar). Kind of a liberal, laissez faire, state government here, guess they figure if you lie and get in a wreck it's your a**, not theirs.
Yup, I plan on being just another statistic as far as dead dragons go ... they're droppin' like flies around here (flyswatters are getting better, don't ya think)?
Tomorrow's the big 8 weeks ... 2/3 done, 4 easy weeks to go ... I'm on a roll Clackity Clack, steady as she goes!

Hey Linux,
Glad to hear your gonna get the new glasses, hard work getting them, but one less stressor dealt with.
One thing at a time, on to the licence next. Left, right, small steps, one step at a time. Bag the other stuff. Forget the lists. You are doing the most important thing. All else follows.
Ya, I know what you mean about thinking how it was "old age". How production was slowing, things getting harder, prior to you being diagnosed. So many things that I could seemingly get done so easily years ago, I could never get seem to get started or finished this last few years. Talk about piling up! ... YOU SHOULD SEE MY HOUSE!! Oh well, I hope to get around to things - later - I have to prioritize! (I keep the door locked so no one can stumble in here by accident and scare themselves.) I cannot ever imagine me adding riba to this recipe - you guys really ARE my heros. You inspire me every step of the way, you make me braver.
I love that you sound like you are chanting my velpa anthem - kill, kill, kill! C.
Linux! I didn't know ya had it in ya! Techno-guy, AND poetry, AND riba? (Well! I had kinda figured out your other obvious talents, all things techno, perseverance, bravery, ability to withstand riba, AND can cook! ... but poetry - who knew!! Yup, I'm impressed. Oh landmarks! - yes, so important to celebrate each and every one - all of us SHOULD mark each one, and mold the next! And in the Pacific Northwest and snowlands, celebrate them quick and well when they show themselves, cause in a blink, stormy weather can obscure them. Yes, where is Jimmy? I am missing my babysitter. I am not a techno person, nor car savvy, I am thingymabobby disabled person - but I think I got your battery problem figured out for ya!! - the buzzer didn't work because your batteries were dead. I'll say it again, you riba folk, and all of us so dedicated to each other here on this site, are my courage and hope, you are all my heros and inspiration. I am just loving seeing everyones attributes sticking out all over the place! ALL of us, a collective WE, and the bodies we drag around, ARE amazing eh! More poetry please, and Jimmy - phoone hoome. LOVE, C
Don't forget everybody ... kill, kill, kill!
Glad to hear you are feeling well Dave.
Worked out today for the first time in 8 days since I was traveling for work; nearly killed me but felt good afterwards.
We got a nice rain yesterday which got rid of all our pollen for a day or two. I will take it!
Have a safe trip tomorrow.
Thanks SF,
HERE ... I wrote a "bad" poem about that ...
Dave
p.s. I'll check to be sure I've got my jumper cables in the pickup ... Thanx
Excellent news Dave,
It's amazing what the body will tolerate and adjust to. You are correct of course, tomorrow is my 1/2 point, 42 pills.
Don't forget to take some cables on your trip because ya know... batteries
It's great to hear you are feeling so good. Keep us posted of course and drive safe.

HAPPY SPRING EVERYONE!

Life is Good,
Dave

** Shrugs
Hi guys,
wlmj1960,
thanks for that advice, I have often thought the same thing as you have - give me some bloat any day over permanently damaged kidneys.
Have good weekend you guys,
Syd
Syd,I hope you are feeling better. That must be difficult to juggle those fluids. I hope your itching gets better.

EOT-minus 25 ... and counting ...
LOL).
Catch y'all later,
Dave
Heyya Sid,
I do tend to oversimplify things at times, it's got to be a tough balancing act with the cirrhosis, I can only imagine how difficult it must all be ... but you are getting rid of this virus and once that *&%$? is gone things are going to ease up on ya. Enjoy those Minnie moments,
kids grow up so fast, if ya blink she'll be off to college ... enjoy the day.
Dave
Thanks Cinnamon girl and Dave,
i will look up the itching pages.
i'Ve been trying to ignore the constant advice to drink more water as I had ascites when I began treatment and was on a strict restricted fluid diet. They've relaxed that now - it's 2 litres instead of one, but my blood tests show kidneys under stress again so they are reviewing diuretic meds. It's a fine balance between becoming bloated with fluid and keeping hydrated enough to ensure kidneys are not being too damaged by strain.
Oh well, I'm going to hobble over to my daughter's now and help put together that Minnie cake, got to get your priorities right don't you? Making white sugary spots sounds like a good way to spend the day.
Hugs to both of you,
Syd
Here's to feeling better, as I grab the brim of my fine Stetson® and take a sip of my Green Smoothie
... then laugh so loud it makes your teeth rattle. (I know, like cringe already, Right?)
Dave

Hi all,
Dave - so good to hear you sounding so chirpy.
Syd
Hi Mike,
Very nice to hear, it's good to know that my short-lived smoothie-fest was of benefit. A serendipitous coincidence ya might say with you needing those chew less wonders right then ... LOL. I'll be back at 'em when I get a little more energy to make them again.
I'm not like totally lacking energy or anything but my level of enthusiasm and drive not to mention stamina is not at it's peak right now.
I look forward to having the energy to exercise and eat well as I recover from the meds after EOT.
Thanks for sharing that they hit the spot for ya ...
Soon congrats will be in order when you get your choppers ... that'll be sweet.
I guess your SVR will be near the same time? Things are lookin' up for us all!
Dave
Don't worry, I've got your slack covered and will have even after April 28 when I get my new teeth. Your smoothie thread was SOOO on time for me with my dental surgery and also for my health. I've been feeling great lately due in part to all the vitamins I'm getting with them. I'll be forever grateful to you for starting that thread and I highly recommend smoothies for anyone who wants to do their body well and get some great tasting treats as a bonus.
Allergies, I get 'em, it's dust and pet dander for me though ... and we have two big dogs ... LOL
Funny though, silver lining to either taking these meds or lack of HCV, not sure, my allergies don't seem to be bothering me much at all right now.
Spring is a good time for me, I get outside and it helps my Seasonal affective disorder, a lot.
Not making many smoothies lately, I am drinking lots of water though ... hafta.

Good stuff Dave! Spring time fresh air and the new growth is a sign of your near future. Gotta look at where you are now, almost done! Remember, your humor got you through half of it and helped many others reach the same goal. Stick with us, we'll get you through to the end! Stay tough Brother...
I haven't seen any action @ the Green Smoothie Ranch lately, are you still blending?? I hope you are keeping up the good nutrition and hydration program. Dude, that girl in the video had it bad that day! Allergies are the pits...

EOT and SVR is right around the corner too. This may be the best year of our lives so far. And it will keep getting better. And it will all make you're dealing with ribacrap seem SO worth it. It won't be long now!

Good to hear you got some rest brother! Makes a world of difference.
While you were sleeping I was tossing and turning. Could not get comfortable in particular where my pillow was concerned. (Yes despite of all you have heard, Bikers have pillows and wear watches. LOL)
Anyway I finally had it.
Got up... went into the bathroom....buzzed my head with a #2....took a quick shower....came back and slept like a baby. ( A baby what you ask? Shoot who knows.)
Morning rolled around, Carol wakes up...looks at me...screams and goes about her business. Start of a great day in my book!

T-Minus 27 ... and counting ... (Official Post)
Pharmacy called today for my "Last 14 day supply of meds" (YAY
), said they'd deliver Mar 23 which works out perfectly.

Dave
p.s. Not sure whether to file this post under mindless drivel or rant/ rave or whatever ...

Hey Jimmy,
Just haven't gotten around to it yet, last post I was in answer/ response (hug) mode, soon I'll be in full daily report mode ... (with T-Minus ?? ... and counting ... header per your instructions ...).
Like I gotta let the engine warm up a little before hitting 75 on the freeway ... threw a rod one time doing that ... the ol' crankcase ain't what it use-ta be ya know.
Dave
p.s. No, this post I'm still in warm up mode too ...
Ok so where is the T-27 huh?
Thanks Wendy,
Safe travels, most excellent luck in work and all and Godspeed!
I have trouble getting to sleep or back to sleep if I wake up, on a fairly regular basis (last 8-10 yrs maybe), but lately the meds seem to have very much sealed that deal ... I'm hoping to turn that around once off the meds. I know more exercise and going to bed at the same time is supposed to help but my mind has a way of laughing at me when I try to think like that.
Life is Good,
Dave
p.s. Cyber hugs all around ...
We're all sending cyber hugs Dave.
Oh Jimmy K, do those pieces come frequently or once in a while? That was a very beautiful, powerful piece of writing.
Help Dave some more.
T-Minus 28 ... and counting ... (Roger that Houston)
Wow ... I mean like WOW ...
... what a wonderful family you all are to have! (As my puffy eyes fight off a tear)
Y'all are my heros ... Thanks each and every one of ya!
Tig with his omnipotent presence, longstanding wisdom, unconditional friendship ... and gall durn stalking drones ...
Jimmy and his "kind of
you know" ... wisdom, huge heart and drawer full of watches ... (not to mention impeccable timing).
Jill with her delightful ability to recall and share experiences and dispense a soothing logic in such a way that it heals the deepest of wounds instantly.
SF and his apropos sense of humor, wonderful caring manner and wise soothing nature.
Dear Syd who, as you all know, has a wonderful knack for seeing the whole picture and finding just the right words to help make sense of it all, all while giving ya a nice warm hug ...
... and Oh so many more here who, on a daily basis, put up with my senseless rantings, my Riba induced (that's my story and I'm stickin' to it) shenanigans, my whining as of late and my occasional habit of filling the Chatbox with mindless drivel ...
... dang Jimmy, made the dang hair on the back of my neck stand up ... as I shrug the cold chills away and move closer to the dancing flames of the fire ...
Thanks Y'all,
Dave
Sorry but all my answers rest in Christ. From there it is all about music and my girl. I am just a lil strange is all.
Jimmy,
If you're getting your answers from Him, I'm listening! The highlight made me think, you're not strange, perhaps "Crazy like a Fox"
****************
Dave,
Lot's of good thoughts headed your way! It's as good a night as any to stay up. The primaries will either entertain you while you lay there wide awake and exhausted, or they'll put you to sleep. Either way, you'll have something (or nothing) to do! How's that for starters? You stay strong bro!
Good Evening Dave. (In my absolute creepiest voice possible.) Ok, ok go with me on this.
CG mentioned a creepy story and said it helped her. "The scarier the better". So I wrote you one for around a campfire scene. Remember now brother, I am nuts so keep that in mind. Ok real dark now, campfire blazing, marshmallows and all that good stuff ok?
I have been,
a criminal,
A place to cast a stone.
One for whom,
You could easily blame,
When your life,
is found in flames,.
The guy whose fault it clearly is,
Where fingers point,
The fault is his.
Yeah thats me,
I am the guy,
12 in the box,
Say he should die.
But wring your hands,
When asked to pull,
The lever that,
Would kill the bull,
You pass that on,
Just want to see,
Someone else,
Put an end to me.
Youre a victim of
Yourself not me,
Its you who fear,
Self not me.
Have laws been written,
You would break?
Were your very,
Life at stake?
Or maybe those
You claim to love
Never a hawk
Always the dove?
Then I say
You deserve to die,
If before your loved ones,
You would cry,
Instead of standing,
As you should
If you truly
Were so good.
So grab your robe,
Of flowing black,
Sit in judgment,
And dont look back,
For if you do,
Youll see my eyes,
Then the sound
That vengeance cries
And the moment
Of your fear
I your reaper,
Will draw near,
Whispering,
Whispering,
Do not run,
Youll never see a rising Sun,
Your longest night,
Is here at last,
By the morrow,
You will have past.
Yes indeed,
Jimmys your host,
Around a campfire,
Id scare a ghost,
A flashlight under
My chin I keep,
But what the hell,
I can sleep,
Im off the Riba,
As youll soon be,
And until you are,
You can count on me,
To help you along
Those sleepless nights
With tales of darkness,
And horrid frights,
Cinnamon read
To pass the time
And 10 more minutes,
Are now mine.
To say I helped you
To get through,
Dave my brother,
Its me and you.
Now go to sleep LOL The Idiot.

Hey Dave,
hope you are feeling better today.i did find Jimmy K's method of counting down, rather than counting up, really helpful.
These last days will speed by and you can look for to virus free life.
cheers,
Syd
** googles sleep
I hope you feel better tomorrow Dave. I certainly understand sleep deprivation and it's not fun.
Take care of yourself and you are almost done.

For this one, let the "face" be the cure.
It will all make sense.
Well maybe not to anyone but me and I am kind of
you know.

Catch Ya Later,
Dave

Outstanding price on the SSD! Those are fast drives and can be pricey, but nice. I'm curious about one thing, how did you get past that online eye test?(Ha, Ha!) Please don't tell me that they will take our word for it, lol! If that happened in Florida, it would be dangerous to get behind the wheel. Everyone would be fudging the truth!
Keep that locomotive chugging forward! You're all getting so close, it doesn't seem like you could be nearing the end already! Almost there.... WOOT!!
Thanks SF,
Sentiments appreciated ... all systems ... CHECK, CHECK, and DOUBLE CHECK
Houston, we have a GO ...
Hey Dave,
Day 55 sounds good!
Flux-Capacitor sounds good!
New Glasses sound good!
All systems seem up and running with a bit of fog but nearing the home stretch now.
I am glad you are doing well and getting closer to that prize. Just a little longer.
Cheers

"kill, Kill, KILL" ...

Reminds me of the following:
Hey Linux,
Glad to hear your gonna get the new glasses, hard work getting them, but one less stressor dealt with.
