I read 8 and 12 weeks, not 24 , 24 weeks is for the geno 2 and 3's, and still need Riba.

Wow, I just saw the price tag on that - $94,500!!
Just to add some perspective on how much that really is:
The national average mortgage payment is $1061 per month. One pill costs more than the average monthly mortgage payment.
The average annual household income is about 50K. A 12 week course of tx costs roughly twice what the average American household will earn in a year.
The average price of a new car is around 30K. A 12 week course of tx costs more than 3 new cars.
The average designer gown worn to the Oscars costs $94,500. (Ok, forget that one. )
Pretty crazy.

Has anyone seen a bellboy? I could use some help with my luggage here.
Btw, that was the longest layover I've ever seen. I intend to write a strongly worded letter to Engineer Gilead when this is over.

Hello Isiscat
Welcome abroad, find a good and comfortable cabin I believe you will be with us for 24 weeks.
I will also be visiting my Hepatologist on Tuesday to hopefully get set up for a 24 week trip on the Harvoni train.
It's been a long 8 months of waiting.

Hello all
This is an invitation for any member or spouse that will be treating or considering treating their HCV with Gilead's "Harvoni" (ledipasvir/sofosbuvir)
Post your questions ,concerns and positive reports on this thread if you want to.
Speak up about your experiences with your on going treatment, doctors visits, lab reports and side effects of the drugs.
Share your thoughts, encourage each other while were on the treatment train, and have fun ,keep it light and dignified remembering how to disagree without being disagreeable.
This treatment will have the best percentage of SVR, with least side effects that their has ever been in the treatment history of HCV
"All aboard"
