time's pretty Flexi in my head but i think a couple of days ago you wrote a post about the 5 acres you grew up on in Oregon(?).
it was really beautiful and I had such a clear picture in my head of the place, the old wood cutter circling his trees and the cabin your brother now lives in. I thought I'd just go back for a reread and maybe a cheeky copy and paste for my creative writing kids - and now I can't find it!! Where did you post it? And have you saved it on your own computer for own family?
Even though I agreed with what you said about clear felling versus selective felling. I felt very sad to see that beautiful majestic tree being cut down by someone so skilled he had obviously done it thousands of times before. What sort of tree was it? I have never seen a forest like that before so wet, with all that lichen growing up the trunks of the trees and that feathery foliage.
5 days? But whose counting? Silly question.

Hey Dave,
Are you registered with the VA? They would more than likely perform a VL upon request. They are doing a lot of that right now. A EOT +4 is a nice morale booster if you can swing it. You can also walk in to Lab Corp and request one yourself, you'd probably have to pay for it. There are some more expensive testing options, but they offer one that is around $200. I could find the information if you are interested. I posted on it recently. I'm confident that you'll be undetected at EOT anyway, so if you can get another CMP at EOT +4, you'd have a good idea by following your ALT score. But we already know you're going to be successful. The Magic 8 Ball said so!

If Riba is the little blue pill you're thinking I'm thinking, then you wouldn't be needing or wanting them either! Hi all, sounds like official Pin Cushion week for most of us around here. GP gave me a slip and I had mine drawn on Monday. I will go back to her tomorrow. Just for liver and kidney function. I know they won't do a viral load until June.
So Its a relief to know that someone in the medical field gets to check out your haemoglobin levels finally Dave. I hope everything else looks stellar.
SF - week 9. That's drawing toward the end as well.

Mike - Results for these should be available within one to two days according to the phlebotomist, when she said that I was a little surprised since the samples go to Seattle (210+ miles one way). I may not see them right away unless I go in and ask for a copy but my PCP usually sends me a copy by mail (an additional day or two). Since I have an appointment for next week (day of EOT) with PCP, she may not send the results but wait for me to come in, not sure.
I'm guessing if the hemoglobin is real low she'll call me. Shes a great PCP but she'll be the first to admit that she's not up on HCV treatment (that's what specialists are for). That would be all fine and dandy except that the specialist I went to see is useless other than writing the initial Rx for the meds. (i.e. no more follow-up, testing, nothing other than EOT+12wk lab order ... even then no more appointments ... like I said, useless). So I'm just using my PCP to get me the tests that I need. Doubt I can talk her into a VL test between now and EOT+12 but maybe.
Yup, won't be long ... getting to within one week has given me a bit of a second wind.
Hopefully you'll get your SVR results back quickly too ... wishing you luck!
