Yes, if you see a title in bold when you`re looking through a forum section it means either that it`s a new topic you haven`t read before, or that a new comment been made on an existing thread and you haven`t read that yet.
Does that make sense of what you`ve seen? Hope so!

Hmmm well I'm not sure about that. For example, I clicked into a section of the site I hadn't read before and there were bold and non-bold titles.

Just so people know, you have the option to view the newest post first - or the original post. Below explains how to make the changes to suit your preference.
Click into 'User Details' along the top bar;
On the left hand side, under 'Profile', click into 'Settings';
On the left is listed 'Order of Comments'.....click this to see 'Oldest First/Newest First'.
