James .. Thankyou for your considerate reply, i remembered you were on the same AD's , i was just curious to know what dose was prescribed with tx... As i had to go to a GP i have never met before in the little weatbelt town a long way from the hospital that manages my case.. So i was just not sure how qualified the GP was ...i took responsibilty for this myself took myself to the GP and put myself on this medication as my caes nurse said there was nothing wrong with me ,cos i wasnt hearing voices or having feelings of harming myself... If i had left it took them i would probably be in a serious state by now ...
Take care Elizabeth ....

I would not advise anyone to adjust their dosage of any medication, that type of advice belongs to the persons doctor- not another poster.
Different doses are prescribed for different reasons, either because of body weight, desired effects or other reasons. What affects some in dosage might be undesirable for others, even if using the same medication.
Antidepressants are truly needed when anyone is on these medications for HCV. As much as one tries, refusing to take them can have very negative effects, including your ability to attain SVR. It has been proven that patients on supportive antidepressant therapy have better clearance rates.
If your doctor is increasing your dosage, he/she has a valid reason. Might be wise to follow your doctors orders and not start playing with your medications just because someone suggested you do.

Hi Beth,
50 mg's. I too didn't really want to do it as it's jut another drug I need to get off now. But I think it's helping. Maybe you could try 75 by breaking one in half.
I can still get pretty angry but not as bad as I was. We just have to keep plugging away.
Hand in there 12 to go@.
