Gidday Hope,
It's been ages since you were last on, how are things going, did anything ever eventuate out of going to that hospital clinic you were trying to attend?
I don't know about an entire acai berry diet, but I was for a long time and have again recently taken up drinking a dietary additive called mon-a-vie, which essentially is a concentrated acai berry drink.
It is renown for its high concentrations of anti-oxidants, phytonutrients, amino acids, vitamins and other trace elements/minerals and has been claimed to be able to relieve many people with poor health, a return to a better quality of life.
I can't claim any great gains but haven't been taking it religiously but do know of some people who say it relieves joint pain and similar qualities.
Needless to say, anything like acai berries, which has supposedly been renowned by natives in the amazon region to have amazing qualities, might be misrepresented as something able to do amazing things. I'd consider all such claims with a degree of criticism until I'd checked it out thoroughly, but it can't for instance, cure HepC.
Hope you are well
Cheers,
Brendan.
