Hi Mate, keep at it and don't give in.
I got clean (Drugs) 33 years ago and naughty little HCV played hide & seek until it broke cover last year and made itself known.
If I have learnt anything it is to never give up, whatever life throws at you it can be overcome.
Keep at it and never give in.
All The Best.

Hi eddie, Forty days is awesome! Just remember the saying that some of have more chairs behind us, but we all all sit right there at the table, one day at a time. Welcome again Patty! I imagine that you've been to the beach meeting in Venice. That's an amazing one...
Hi Greg, I hope all is well and the sides are still being kind. Hi to everyone else. I was going to write more, but those darn "O"s are back! ty

Thinking of you Eddie, don`t worry about ranting and raving here! We`ve all been through dark times, in one way or another, so we are the best people to understand what you`re going through.
Stay strong, every day clean and sober is a huge achievement, so give yourself a big pat on the back for what you`re doing.
As Jillie said, sometimes it`s about taking it one minute at a time.
Good luck, and don`t forget - we`re here for you!
Love from Jill xx

Every day clean and sober is a huge accomplishment! I'll have 10 years this coming June and I never would have imagined that I could make it this far. Sometimes we need to live one minute at a time. Take a deep breath and try to relax. I'm thinking of you and praying for you. XO Jill

Hi eddie, Sounds like you are thinking pretty normal for twelve days clean to me. They call it that old "stinkin thinkin" and everybody in the program goes through it. It does improve. Stay close to the meetings, strongly consider a sponsor and know that there is no problem that staying clean and sober can't help. I know how you are feeling. I will never forget how I felt when I first came in to the rooms. Those memories of what it was like are my first step and they keep me clean and sober to this very day. You will feel better in the future. (Thirty days in the program is a huge mental milestone.) Nothing could be better for your second Tx than being clean, sober and healthy. You are not wasting time waiting, you are doing exactly the right things to get well. Take care mate, ty

Hi all, I am really proud of what you are doing and how well you are coping, however i need to say that 12 days clean off chemicals after a life time of abuse and i think i am going nuts not really sleeping at moment so i suggest you disregard what i say (or have said) in future correspondence because i aint got a clue what is going on right now .Still going to go to NA meetings and spill my guts to get some relief and do my qi gong and meditation need to get strong beat this f****** this time!!!!!,still intend to go for retreatment but all this waiting and uncertainty is becomming hard to bear, must admit though am happy to be clean for what its worth Anyway tomorriow is another day and i might change again, not my descision but my emotional stability,BE STRONG
