Thanks for your response. I was fortunate and had early response and have good levels thru out. My fare share of sides as like every one else. My doc has been great but like most, pretty busy, as a matter of fact, it hasn't been two weeks since our 4 month mandatory sit down, he looked over the schedule, I made remarks about 7 more weeks of tx and he agrred. But after gathering the facts, its looking like 48 weeks.

It depends on how you responded to treatment. If you didn't respond soon enough they typically extend treatment. But if you responded and you are a g1 48 weeks it is.
Congrats !

I was led to believe my interferon treatment was going to last every bit 0f 52 weeks. (i'm g1) On max dose per body weight. My wife looked at my blood draw schedule and came to the conclusion that its 48 weeks, which makes 1 more week of this nightmare instead of 5. My doctors office is proving to be over worked and under staffed. They don't return calls very well buy my med supplier has stopped the script at 48 weeks, thats what drew our attention. I want to celebrate tomorrow, my last injection, the best possible way. Can anyone say for sure, is Peg/ riba Interferon treatment 48 week total? Thanks
