The sx gods are being kind to me so far Mano. I have muscle aches which I'm just taking over the counter ibuprofen for. A couple of nights I've had to take sleep pill even though I'm real tired - but I had sleep probs going into tx and if anything it seems that some of the meds are helping to make me sleep better.
I realize it's early in my treatment, two and a half weeks, so anything could change. But to worry about that is not good for my head so I try to stay positive by just living in the moment. I was talking to someone about that last night - living the whole thing one day at a time. And for me, that is something easier said than done, I have to work at constantly.
You sound like you're doing a bit better today, Mano. I like the positive quote by Cummings.
Hang in there, Randy

Hey Mano,
Still feeling crappy huh? My feelings and thoughts go out to ya man. Just hang in there until that appointment and think about asking them if they can prescribe something to pick up your mood - if possible before tx starts.
A lot of people actually feel bad prior to or during treatment, so you're not alone. Sometimes when I'm feeling down I take a hot bath and try to bring my thoughts around to some of the most pleasant things I ever experienced. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not - but I thought it might be worth mentioning.
Sorry I can't offer any other ideas to help you feel better,
Hang tough, Randy

Hi Mano, I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling so bad. It sounds like the way I felt when I first started going to the Doctor to find out what was wrong with me. Actually, once I started treatment I felt bad, but not worse, and everyone else kept telling me I looked much better, lol. Feeling ill does mess with your mind, so be extra kind and forgiving to yourself right now. Just know that you are doing the best that you can and that's all any of us have to give. I used to tell people to treat themselves like they would their best friend, we're usually much harder on ourselves.
Your appointment next week should ease your mind a bit, because at least you will have a plan for getting better. I'll keep you in my thoughts, ty

Hiya Mano
Feeling so ill must be the pits and no wonder you're feeling low - seeing your doc and finding out how things stand will at least be a start on getting things straightened out - having a direction to head for can feel so much better - more in control and empowered - than just drifting and worrying - it is a scary thing indeed but theres a mass of help out there - I urge you to ask and keep on asking until you get what you need and deserve

Hi Mano,
Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Be strong and try to hang in there ! At least you know what's wrong with you, I tried for a few years to get this diagnosed and finally someone figured it out. I was sleeping for 12 hours or taking naps most days. Low energy, mood changes, irrational behavior. All that time wasted not knowing I was sick. At least you won't have to live the majority of your life not knowing you're sick.
Hang in there,
James
