Hi Mano, just wanted to wish you good luck. You sound a lot happier and more positive now, and yes, I agree with what you say about learning to grow in order to overcome obstacles in our lives. What doesn`t kill us makes us stronger. I would say I`ve certainly learned a lot while I`ve been doing this tx, and am coming out of it a stronger more self-confident person.
You will do it!
All the best, Jill xx

Good Luck Mano,
My thoughts are with you. Congrats on giving up the smoke. That's a positive thing and I think your whole outlook has improved towards the positive since we first met. Keep us informed.

getting really anxious now.. will take blood and get briefed on treatment, side effects, etc.. next week i will know for sure if im to treat and if so will start str8 away.
will probably write down a few questions tonight as i got plenty..
been probably a month since i got diagnosed and its probably been the worst month of my life.. still dont feel great, got a constant headache, abdominal pain, stomach cramps, cant sleep at night, cant get up in the morning, u name it..
but at the same time, this opened a completely new perspective on life for me. i stopped smoking, (was never much of a drinker), stopped partying completely.. its funny how you need a wake up call like this to appreciate wat really is important in life no?..
not saying this has been a good thing, but that we are faced with obstacles in our life and its up for us to grow in order to overcome them or have them eat us alive.
i have been inspired by the courage of so many people here, and in other forums, some with kids (some of them with the virus too) and although this is not an easy path, if they can do it damn I have no right to be lame about it.
please read my other post.
You will do it!
All the best, Jill xx
