Hi there Mano, I have to say I agree with what the others are saying - you have a lot of unanswered questions and are obviously really suffering physically and emotionally, and that`s not a good state to start tx in, even if it`s even appropriate to start at this time.
All the very best of luck to you.

Hi Mano,
I think if your dr is planning to do another vl count before your start date, then you might have a better idea of whether you could benefit from waiting another couple of weeks, as Sunny suggests.
I think you maybe need to speak with your doc and perhaps make a list of specific things you need clarity about. If you are definitely starting tx next week, then i'd suggest discussing going on anti-depressants now Mano. You do seem a little all over the place, which is understandable in your current situation, so i think it would be helpful for you, if you know exactly what is happening.
I also get the sense that you are feeling rushed into starting tx. I think you actively need to be clear that you are ready/willing to undertake it before you start, to allow yourself the best chance for success.
Keep us posted. Hugs Heather xxx

Gidday Mano,
Fnzol may have a good point there, seeing your doctor I mean, it seems you definitely have a conflict here, apart from what you are going off at, and that is you can't be going through the acute stage of infection and be treated for long term chronic infection at the same time.
Not sure if you are such a good candidate for tx while you are in such a disagreeable mood. You definitely need to speak to your doctor about your inability to cope with this, you haven't even started tx yet and don't sound like you should.
Now I am an advocate for everyone who is infected doing tx, but only when the tx is appropriate and the candidate has been fully checked and is suitably prepared, including all necessary pre-medication.
I guess with today being the 4th of March ("beware the ides") and you supposed to be starting tx in a weeks time, you need to get this matter quickly sorted. Now I am not a big one for people giving conflicting advice to what has been medically advised, but would suggest you get your ability to handle tx addressed, before going ahead with it. Are you going to be on ADs for tx and if so why aren't you already on them. ?
I am not trying to be rude or upset you here, I am merely trying to point out you may not be fully prepared for what tx will put you through, either physically or psychologically, and that perhaps a bit more time may be required, before you start tx.
I wish you the best of luck here mate, but doing tx is a waste of time, if you are not fully prepared or haven't been fully diagnosed.
Cheers,
Brendan.

Hey Mano, why don't you see your doctor? You've got multiple threads going here about your health issues, but none of us know the answers you wish you had.

Well, I will keep thinking good thoughts and hope for the best. Hang in there and keep us posted. I hope it all turns out well. Do you do one more load count before you start or have you decided that March 11th is the day to start treatment?

hey SUnny but i already had 3 viral loads done. last one was 700.000 which is still quite high, the one before was 1.400.000 dr said it went down but he'd like to see more of a drop if i was to clear... and they kind of agree that if i was to clear it i would have by now as my 1st symptoms were mid december.

I believe that you ARE beating this virus! Seriously, you might want to ask to hold off of treatment until you can get your viral load tested a week or two after your jaundice and symptoms subside. You seem to be having a textbook acute attack and that is coorelated with higher rates of spotaneous clearance. Holding off treatment for 2 more weeks is not going to hurt anything! If you get labs drawn aftewards and you virus is still high, then go ahead and start. No biggie But how much of a shame would it be if you started treatment needlessly???
I dunno..I don't want to overstep my bounds and act like I'm a doctor or anything, it's just that I was like you; I was planning on starting treatment the week after I got my acute attack symptoms. But I am thankful that my doctor knew the clearance signs and told me to hold off, because I did inded clear the virus less than a month after my jaundice started. Best of luck, Mano

not feeling any better still on my supposed acute stage.. constant headache, yellowiss eyes, constant abdominal pain. stomach cramps. Drs dindnt give me any call regarding my bloods last week not sure why Im still waiting for those as no one seems to believe i can clear this thing by myself at this stage anymore. im supposed to start treatment next friday 11th march. i feel like rubbish. havent managed to get out of the flat last few days. lay in bed most of the day, as im so tired and its easy to just snooze and not think or think about something else that not reality. starting to feel really angry at everything around me.. im starting not to recognize myself whats happening? im not on treatment yet!.. really angry most of the time really.. sleep on pills only. scared of depression as i have always been pretty depressive.
From me too Mano. Hope all is well.
