I'd agree with Randy. Will the results be passed on to your GP, who will then discuss them with you because really, telling you your liver is a bit 'coarse' without any explanation is not very helpful at all. Or to mention your pancreas. And all she seems to have achieved is to add more doubt in your mind, as well as more questions.
I'd make an appointment with your doc Mano to discuss your results. The good news is that your liver is not cirrhotic. Hugs Heather xxx

I know the whole thing is frustrating. Usually the person who does the ultrasounds, x-rays, and the like are not the ones trained in reading them. Nor are they usually permitted to say much, at least here in the US. It might take a few days for someone to read it and get back with your doc.
It sounds like your docs are actually moving along at a decent pace compared to the wait and delays I had. We're all different and situations are all different. Hope things are going better for you soon.

oh i forgot to say.. she also mentioned something about my pancreas.. which is just wat i needed.. (not to me but she commented to the trainee something about pancreatitis, while i was just there looking at the screen the b*tch) so when i thought things couldnt get any better they DID! happy days.. coarse my a**

so not many answers there.. the radiologist (or whatever they call themselves) said its not cirrothic. ... Great! i mean.. can u tell more than that?! is there any damage?.. because it hurts i said.. her answer: ur liver looks "coarse".. Coarse?! -yes.. looks like its a bit stiff..
hmm.. cool... so i shall go home and dwell on that as well.. how does my liver look stiff at less than 6 months infection? any thoughts guys? i thought they were gonna say.. it all looks normal. apparently it doesnt look so "normal"
