Gotta say, Rick & I don't fight. I think thats the problem must of the time lol I am way animated then he is.. Gotta hate that damn silent treatment.. Actually, things are going great. It was just Rick not knowing how to deal with me being sick. I just told him that he doesnt have to do anything special, just listen at times, help a little. He doesnt have to buy me gifts, he knows that.. I am over the 3D thing already.. I hurt my already sore eyes lol

from this side of the pond, I would love American football in 3D! that's great that you are doing well, Kristin, and especially that you and Rick are talking - an earlier post of yours had me worried. I don't know you, I haven't read many posts on here, so please pardon my butting in, but a typical pattern is that the spouse (usually husband) after a fight showers the wife/girlfriend with gifts and love, which she of course enjoys, then the tensions start building up again...

Thanks Iris, I'll give that a try
Kaz- I am on the injections, I haven't heard of anyone here using the pen. When I asked the Dr about finishing early she had no idea what I was talking about, actually looked at me as if I was insane. I suppose it's something they haven't even considered doing here.

Oh Kirsten i was hoping you would ask what a shame its not down there yet
your just the same as me genotype 3a und at week 4,but i guess they can only do as they are told, its so new finishing at week 16,im the first my nurse had to do so.
Are you on the pegasys injection or the pen? only reason i ask is that my nurse said if id choosen the pen i would have to continued to week 24 im not overly sure why, something to do with the stuides they are doing at the moment.
Anyhoo my dear your doing really well, rememer when you was so scared you wouldnt get und at week 4? you did that i think your a star the way your coping.
and if you need a chat im always here

Hey Kristen honey, Do remember to breath. I recomend a breathing excercise....slow and steady, breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. With each breath imagine you are breathing in bright yellow healing light and bathing your liver in its healing glow. With each exhale, imagine the virus leaving your body on dirty yellow light, sinking onto the ground and disapating into the earth.
This breathing tech. works well for that pukie stomach feeling too....real well, no visualization needed, just concentration. In through the nose1...2...3....4....5, pause out through the mouth 1...2...3...4...5, pause, repeat, over & over untill you feel the tummy ache go away.
Take care, xxxoo Iris

Kaz,
The only disappointing thing about the visit to the clinic was when I asked what the procedure was for 'rapid responders'. I have to say that I did bring you up & that because you were etc that you were able to finish early. Unfortunately though, in Australia, they just continue the full treatment.. so a full 24 weeks for me.. Could be alot worse & be 48 or more but I was hoping.. Oh well.. come this far huh? The tv is starting to drive me insane I have to say..

Wow, that is fantastic Kirstin! Sounds like things at home are looking up, good to hear. You deserve to be cared for and loved, some blokes just don`t know how to deal with emotional stuff. (No offense guys, I`m sure all of you here are lovely with your wives and partners.)
Thanks for letting us know you`re alright, nice to think of you chilling out in front of your new TV. Enjoy your relaxation while tx lasts, plenty of time to rush around afterwards.
All the best, love, Jill xxx

Hi guys, don't know what made Rick suddenly want to 'talk' but the other day he asked me to take a walk with him (extremely weird & was worrying). Anyhow, he said that he knew that he had been distant lately & it wasn't because he didn't care etc it was because he didn't know how to handle seeing me sick, felt helpless when all he wanted to do was make me better again. It's one thing he has never seen me be before, sick. He told me that he feels as though he has let me down & that will change, he was sorry etc. So to start making it easier on me, at home, he got me the TV.. Cause he doesn't want me to miss out on life (even going to the cinema has become a thing of the past). I also got a new front-loader washer with all the trimmings, a new fridge (??), dishwasher, awesome microwave, a new wall oven & cooktop... LOL Me thinks he was the one missing out (missed my cooking).. Though, in his defence, he knows I am not into jewelry etc.. I am more practical, enjoy those things to bling. It's his way of showing me he loves me & cares.. Now.. I just have to go through some more SX's, I want a new bathroom hehehe.. The TV is awesome, there is only one channel though that plays 3D, a sports channel & it's all just American Football.. ahhhh.. so movies & doco's it is atm.. The glasses look like sunglasses & dont look to stupid.. The novelty will wear off soon enough & I''ll be back here
