Yes Iris,
Heat waves are expected in S. Ca. this weekend. My worst days by far have been when I have been exposed to the heat here in AZ. Please do whatever you can to stay cool.
And always I wish you the best,
Ron

Arrrrr matie, bananas be a good thing! Tis one of the foods that does make the belly better. !!
ya, watch out for that prilosec ...the warning inclosure freaked me out. I wonder why the doc. thinks it would be ok?
most certainly excercise makes it worse. In fact excercise makes me feel exausted, But maybe that's a different topic.
Blaaaaaaaaaaaa I suppose coffee should be off the list Bye for now, Iris
PS. uuggghhhhhhh it's supposed to be over a 100 today and humid. We have NO air conditioner. uuggghhhhhhhhh

No kidding Iris, I've had that stomach thing for the last 3-4 days. Never threw up, just felt like it a bunch of times. Oh, and I am taking prilosec daily, might have to look at that. My hepc doc prescribed it for me because of (don't know how to spell it) heidel hernia. Oh what fun aging is hey? My stomach pain is about mid belly and some diarrhea too. Luckily it's only been a few days for me. Hope you are feeling better soon, Take care, Randy

i took a long walk w/a friend yesterday, and it hit today. it hits especially hard when i do a significant amount of physical stuff, however my stomach always has a constant sensitivity throughout the day. i'm doing the yogurt, chicken noodle soup, i find that sparkled water's carbonation works wonderfully.
good call on the bananas, too!
the nausea stuff doesn't work well for me, as it says to take 1-2 every 6 hours and it still hurts 2 hours later. i'm in the process of tracking my doctor down for something better, but this stuff is called ondansetron.
if you're throwing up all the time, it will dehydrate you. you should hunt your doctor down to perscribe you w/something. they might try out a few meds until they get the right one. as i said, ondansetron isn't great for me, but your stuff sounds more severe than mine.
good luck, and here's hoping your doc is easier to get ahold of than mine.

Iv'e always had that nagging ache in my liver, and when I was all the way pregnant, BOY did it ache!
I get these "instant" stomach aches several times throughout the day, and I feel like I will puke, but I don't. I don't know if it is because my gall bladder was removed, and that's been almost 10 years now, but I wonder if it is the bile rushing into my stomach. Recently however, I have been experiencing pain all around my belly button area, that doesn't seem related.
I've had horendous heartburn since I was pregnant 28 years ago ( side affect that just never went away) and i've taken prilosec in the past, but the warnings on that med for liver problems is HUGE. They keep prescribing it, and I keep NOT taking it. I find if i chill in breads, sugars and grease, it improves greatly.... MAN do i miss doughnuts!!!

Iris,
I have a dull ache in the area of my liver that nags me more often than not. While it does hurt most of the time, it's usually just enough so that I notice it, but sometimes it hurts more. I attribute it to an enlarged liver that showed up in my CT scan.
I also get stomach aches that are kind of like spastic colon or bad gas, but I can't fart or poop, or move, and sitting still doesn't make it any better. Usually my nerves bring it on. My stomach swells, and hurts so bad I can't do anything to make it better! it only happens a few times a year. I have some little pills pills from the dr. that I take if it happens, they relax my stomach. Don't know what it is.

Hey Iris,
The first couple of months during tx I suffered from nausea and was given Maxolon by my local GP which helped, plus eating boat loads of banana's lol. Nausea is a side effect of tx and it might be prudent for you to see your local GP/medical team for a quick chat and make sure all is ok.
Hope you get better.
Hugs,
Greg
