I haven't missed a dose, as yet, though I do have my 'panic' moments trying to remember if I have taken them or not. The pill box that came with my kit is brilliant. Couldnt do without the damn thing. Not with all this bloody brain fog lol

Karen,
I just got approved today for the triple therapy. I don't know how I am going to remember all these dosing times either! After the 12 weeks, the riba schedule should seem like a breeze to remember. Every 12 hours seems doable, but 4 times a day, yikes! Do you have your daily pills set aside in a pill box?
Yes, I think staying in your own home with a routine must be key.

Hi Karen,
Yes I have missed taking my meds a couple of times, but only the Riba and didn't panic just resumed my regime the next day, I can understand your concern but as you are just starting you'll be ok just get into the routine.
Thinking of you,
Greg

I know about timing. I freakn cried. I'm doing everything SO perfect. I've prepped for this for months. I lay down n prayed n got myself calmed down. W/ stage 4 cirrhosis, I can't afford to make a mistake. Argh! maybe it was early enuff (3rd day) in tx that it won't hurt.
BTW- I wondered what good could ever come of spiders in my garage. I called the county extension office today for and the lady who handles all spider calls had hep c! Took tx years ago when it was multiple shots. Took it again 6 years ago and is virus free! She's 52 n had end stage also! I sealed off the house for diggers n have moved home. NO more traveling w my meds for a while. I feel safer w my routine here at home.
Thanks for listening.... this tx is all consuming right now.

I have my iPhone alarm all set w what to take... And this morning I knew by the packaging I'd messed up on Telaprevir. I called the pharmaceutical RN n she said not to worry n gave me a tip. Here's my regime:
6 am - 2 Telaprevir n 3 Ribavirin
2 pm - 2 Telaprevir
6 pm - 2 Ribavirin
10 pm - 2 Ribavirin n interferon Inj.
I ran a lil 24 hr fever, granddaughters bday party, trying to move n found brown recluse spiders.. Left items from storage in garage, Fog, stay w family, clean n move more, fog again. Geez. I just messed up somewhere.
RN said it's ok to take Ribavirin 8 hrs apart n to take it at 2 w Telaprevir at 2pm. I got discouraged. Nap time.
