Wow! You get my smile of the evening award! Ear to ear! Your dosage sounds jus like mine. Kudos for telling a coworker. Alas, I'm starting a new job so I'm gonna have to fake it. The anticipation was huge n now I'm finishing my 4th day. Worked til 1 in classroom, nap. 3 loads of laundry n watered the lawn front n back. Ok. I was so laid out Sat that I took Riba when I shud have taken Telaprevir. Never again. Heck I'm gonna put my big ### pill caddy around my neck.
Happy feet dancing for you!! Karen

James, I'll be looking for that big ass pill caddy!
Also, I couldn't keep it in any longer and told my dear trusted friend that I work with. She will know that I am on some sort of treatment, and I just couldn't keep it from her any longer. She told me that the pastor at her chruch has it, and so does another man at her chruch, so she is familiar with what I will be going through.
I told my boss that I am going through treatment, and that I would rather not say why. He said that he did not need to know why, but he appreciated knowing what to expect at work. I told him if things go well for me that I will be on treatment for 6 months, if they don't go quite as well, that it would be a year. And if they go bad, it could be 12 weeks or less because that means it didn't work or made me so sick that I couldn't handle the medication. I haven't spoken to my Dr. yet, but I think that is just about right.
I also told him that the side effects could be anywhere from just being really tired, to putting me in bed for a few months.
I only have 4 weeks sick time available so I'll have to fit the sx into that the time available. (Yeah right!)

I heard from the pharmacy today and the insurance finally approved my rx for the triple tx, after my doctor sending in the paperwork to appeal the denial. My doctor appointment is on the 29th of July, and I am NOT supposed to start tx until I see him. My 10 day vacation is alrealy scheduled, so I will probably wait until I return from vacation to start. The pill schedule is gruelling..... something like this:
6am - 5 pills
2pm - 2 pills
6 pm - 3 pills
10pm - 2 pills
Then of course the weekly injection. I don't know how I will manage to keep up with this, I can't even remember to take the keys out of the car and shut the garage door at night! I forget that I have stuff on the stove and have set the smoke alarm off several times in the last year. ... wait, what was I talking about?
