I did my last shot Friday. Today I got my six month viral load. It came back all zeros, like it has since week four.
My nurse practitioner told me to begin tapering off the Ribavirin. Tonight and tomorrow I will take two pills twice a day. On wednesday I will take two in the morning and one at night. On thursday she said don't take any.
Yay!

I can only imagine how good that will feel. Nobody can understand how tough this program can be unless they have done it. And by the same token, nobody can understand how wonderful it is to finish.
