I was just posting in another topic and thought I would ask if anyone else has had a blood test instead of a liver biopsy that told them they had liver scarring? I have never had a biopsy, but my doctor did some blood test to show if there was scarring on my liver.  She explained that I would be between stage 2-3.  I did not ask a lot of questions at the time about this test as I was more concerned about talking to her about treatment.  If anyone has any insight, I would sure appreciate it!
