Man, you got a lot to be happy about. Fine looking folks. Hope you're feeling OK and kicking some virus butt. Virus butt kicking is a popular sport these days.

Thanks everybody!!!!!!
Tomorrow is what they call Day -1. Bloodwork, ekg, a complete physical and once over. I start the meds on Friday. I'm excited and ready to go. I will need to do some creative scheduling for work for the next 2 weeks. After that it's only once a week then once every 2 weeks. The weather here has been great this week. I hope it keeps up.

Jim, I'm so happy you stayed at Stage 2/Level 2 for past years and are now able to do this trial! Certainly sounds like it was meant to be. I don't know anything about the newer drugs so very much looking forward to updates from you. You have a wonderful outlook.
Hugs,
Judy

Fantastic that your doctor is so supportive, and also your trial doctor, sounds like she`s going to be such a huge help along the way. You`re a pioneer Jim!
Looking forward to following your progress and hearing all about it, we`ll all be here with you every step of the way!

This is so great! It could not be better unless of course it was happening to me. Just kidding.
I want to hear everything about this. Would it be too much to ask that you keep a daily journal noting all things great and small, and then, at the end of each day share every single detail with us? Just kidding again. Please do keep us updated though.
Btw, well done taking such good care of your liver for the past 10 years. You must have been doing some healthy living.
Sincerely,
Person of Earth

Yeaaaa, awesome news!
And I know what you mean about things happening that were "supposed" to. I can't explain it, but I sure see it in my life a lot. I notice you stayed on the forum, even when you had to stop TX, and you mention "the next go round" on your earlier posts. I guess it just happened sooner than you thought. Wonderful!

I'm in!!!!!!!! Stage 2 Level 2. Same a s 10 Years ago. Amazing to me. Brad you were right!!!!!!!
So many things have happened in the last 10 days to allow this to happen I can't help but believe I am supposed to be on this trial. No matter what happens in the end I am very grateful to all my Dr.'s, my family, and my friends who have given me way more than I could ever give back to them.
I ran into my Gastro Dr. in the hospital right after I got the results and he said it was good that I was doing it because it would help people in the future who are battling this disease. It gave me goosebumps.......he's a great guy and has no ego. He supports me 100% and encourages me every time I see him.
My Dr for the trial is also an amazing, giving person who is the sole reason I'm able to try this tx. I would not be given this oppurtunity without her.
And not a day goes by without me thinking of all the good people on here who got me started back in September and who are always encouraging and supporting everybody on tx. You guys are the best of the best.
Thank you all. Round 2 is about to begin.............

I had a biopsy yesterday in hopes of being Stage 3 or less so I can go on a trial for 7977 and the BMS drug ( forgot # ) and maybe riba. Several people are starting it or have started this week. If I am above stage 3 I am not elligible for this trial. I will look for something else then.
I was on Triple Tx w/telaprivir for 8 wks and had to stop due to rising VL.
It went from 11.2m to 430 by week 4, then at week 8 it was 20,000. Dr said it mutated and got around the medicine, smart virus heh?
I am GT 1a, null responder and will find out next week what the dilly-o is.
