My nurse got it through the insurance quick--she is a miracle worker. She was just upset that they couldn't get it to me tomorrow. I am ok with Tuesday

Thanks guys! I am looking forward to the Procrit--in a weird way--if it makes me feel better. I feel like I am sleep walking through my day and not really present in my life. They are shipping it Monday--Thank goodness it is spring break. My plans include laying around, sitting around and sleeping (no not around)

Yes -what a long strange trip it is! I am looking forward to being actually awake when I am awake. I really just hope I my brain starts functioning again and I don't forget what I am talking about mid sentence. My poor co-workers and students are either laughing at my goofiness or running from my b'ness. Love you guys!

Chin up, Shep ol' buddy. The procrit turned me around in a couple of weeks. Only needed three shots. And with the reduced Riba dose (600mg/day) I feel like my hgb has stayed OK. You'll at least feel a little more energetic real soon.
Now they are starting to test me for thyroid, and mumbling about that. Have an appointment Monday, so can't wait to hear what they have to say.
As Anna C alluded, ain't treatment a hoot? Never boring. Get well, girl. Between you feeling poorly and Renee all worn out, this is not near so much fun as it used to be.

Today got to see the PA--she is great and I get to start Procrit--numbers are starting to drop. Yea more shots!
My thyroid is continuing to climb-- up to 17. The PA is calling the endrocryoogist (sp??). My dearest friend said she thinks you should be dead with thyroid at 17--she's always good for a laugh. But I am still kicking--more of a low shuffle
