Sorry to hear about that...on the plus side, there's a whole bunch of therapies on the horizon now...compared to 5 years ago. Your doctor should know about trials that you can sign up for.

So sorry you`ve had to stop tx Tio, you gave it your very best shot. Take some time to rest and recover now, and remember there`ll be other opportunities coming your way at some point in the future.
Hope you`ll be staying around, you`re always a great support to people here.
Wishing you all the best, Jill xx

Hi Tio,
We haven't spoken much but I wanted to add my feelings as well, as many have said you have inspired and encouraged many people with your kind words of support and we share your disapointmment. Take this time to heal your body and get back to your self again even though you didn't finish your tx, what you have done will have really helped your liver tremendously.
Take care and get ready for round 2.
Best Wishes,
Greg

Hey jim
So they took me off all treatment in week 8 after I went from 5000 to one million. I have tried interferon 4 times and o for 4. I am also stage 2 level 2 unchanged from ten years ago - I did a study with BMS7000 last year with interferon and ribravitrin - it didin't work... let me know how yours goes!!!

Hey Tio,
Sorry you had to stop but it must mean there is something else coming for you. One doors closes another one opens. Be patient and get as healthy as you can. It took me a while to get back to normal, whatever that is...

So sorry Tio that it did not work. I hope you are OK. And you do get a break from treatment and new drugs will work for you once they come out. Just get some rest and recuperation. Let us knw how you are doing if yo feel like it. You are much appreciated here. Much love!!!

Disappointed. lab results show I don't respond to tx. (no 1/2 log drop in VL which means I don't respond to interferon. Dr. advised I stop. :( but I will wait for the new nucleotide drugs in the pipeline, or get into a study. I know several pharmacutical co. are developing new stand alone drugs for treatment. At least I don't have to do any more tx for a while.
So sorry Tio,
May you respond to better drugs with less side effects!
