Thanks All! I like those small victories!
Kelly--I have had hypothyroid for about 16 years and yes tx can effect the thyroid--even if you don't have thyroid issues. It is one of the things they test for--don't think they were expecting mine to go balastic--now hope it doesn't go hyper.
Anyone join me for darts later?

I'm with Jim. Salt-n-Vinegar, a Mountain Dew, with a double latte' for afterwards (the systems administrator's official snack).
Glad to see you feeling better, Shep. Now that my riba dose is back up a bit, I am beginning to feel some of the symptoms of low hemo. But not bad yet. I have procrit here if I need it, but am not using it now. Isn't it fun when the brain and the body find one another again, and can play nicely? What a novel concept. Even in treatment there are small victories.

Well got a call from my nurse today with a report on my numbers AND the reason I am feeling better is my TSH has finally dropped and is getting much, much closer to normal. It is truly amazing how much better I feel--I have energy, my brain has rejoined my body and the two are actually getting along. Found my appetite in a bag of balsamic vinegar & rosemary potato chips--had to go all the way to the bottom of the bag--but there it was!
And I got my 12 week VL--still UND!!
But the Procrit shots---have decided that I don't like them--told my boss that I may not be coming in on Wednesdays until I get used to those shots--they kick my booty!
