Yes, as Shep said, the horns and tail come and go pretty much at their own convenience. The all-over red color (like Hot Stuff the devil) is very popoular with Incivek patients, but you two are both Vic guys, so you might not get to enjoy that one.
Right now the big sx for me is being out of breath anytime I climb stairs or try to jog a little bit. Very low hematocrit, and also neutrophils (a white cell thing), but not low enough to treat. I just get to live with it.
I'll be watching you closely, wishing for smooth sailing.

Hey Tim--glad you are hanging in there. My doc recommeded taking one extra-strength tylenot and one ibeprophen. Something I would never have tried--it helps take the edge off the headaches and bodyaches and aches. And of course water, water, water. My horns and tail pick the most inopportune times to pop out!

Hey, thanks all for the well wishes and words of encouragement! The injection class went well, this morning I woke up with a bit of a headache, but I've been hydrating-up in hopes to quell the headache without using Tylenol(which isn't very effective anyway). Had my first dose of Ribavirin, so far i haven't grown horns and a tail....yet.

Yes, I'll also be using Boceprevir starting on Day 29. I'll definately be posting here regularly, to share the "ups & downs" with you all, as a group with whom I have so much in common .

After having been here[mostly lurking] for over a year, I finally get to join the ranks of those here "on treatment".
I do my first Pegasys shot today at the "give-yourself-a-shot" training class at Kaiser-Permanente; not doubt I'll also be gulping down Ribavirin caps like they're going out-of-style.
