Hi Mike, I was told to go to the ER as well, but just a thought of NY ERs made me stay home. All the chest tightness was caused by the heartburn that was relieved by Zantac. I would never imagine that heartburn can cause so much discomfort.

I had that whilst on incivek, with shortness of breath. I was told to immediatley go to the emergency room. They determined that it was probably heartburn and or stress, definitley not a MCI or anything. Many EKGS and a night later they released me, then I was referred to a cardiologist who put me on a halter moniter. It scared the crap out of me. Id go to the hospital seriously. I'm not trying to scare you and I'm really sorry if I did but that's my recommendation.
God bless
Mike

Margo, I did the victrelis for 28 weeks and had the palpitations and tightness on and off the whole time after I started the vict. Maybe normal I'm not sure check with the vertex nurse. I noticed it most when laying down or sitting.

You might want to post this in the On Treatment section to get more responses. I hope that you feel better soon. I'm a partner of someone with Hep C, so I can't offer much guidance. Take gentle care and know I'm rooting for you and all the others here!

Today will be a week on the triple therapy and for the past 3 days I experience palpitations, chest tightness and burn. Anyone experienced that after taking Incivek?

Hi Margo, I`m moving this thread to the `On Treatment` section for you, so that you`re more likely to have a reply from someone with experience of incivek.
Hope things settle down for you soon.
