Completely awesome.
And yeah, und. really helps with the svr odds.
Keep a close eye on the hemo. Mine fell and stabilized at 11.0.
But 9 is pretty low.
Hang in there,
Brad

My hepatologist called me in today, a week early. My VL result of <15 TND (Target Not Detected) means the same as undetected so I'm pretty happy. He was not overly concerned about my Hb of 9.1 so no dose reduction of Riba. As an EVR, my prospect of achieving SVR has gone up from 40-50% to 75-80%. As an older cirrhotic, I can battle through with those odds.
Thanks to all that responded.

Hey congrats on that result Malcolm! I`m no expert, but it certainly sounds like good news to me!
Yes, your Hb is pretty low, no wonder you`re not feeling great, also your platelets, but your VL result must be a great boost to you, and your ALT level is looking very good.
Good luck with your appointment with the hepatologist next week, keep us posted.
Take care ~ Jill xx

Hi, Just got my VL at 7.5 weeks ( after 3.5 weeks of Victrelis).
Reported as <15 TND ( Target not detected).
I am in Brisbane, Australia, and the Lab. is a large private Pathology Practice that does most of the HCV testing in Queensland. There are so many different tests that this is a bit hard to research on the internet. I see my hepatologist in a week but could not bear to wait until then.
From the forum, I see that most EVR's get an 'undetected' and I am hoping this is the same thing. My Hb is down to 9.1, platelets 71,000 so am feeling crap and needed some good news. My ALT has dropped to 60, the lowest it has been in 15 years. I hope this is also a good sign, as the drop in the 7.5 weeks has been steady.
Being cirrhotic, geno 1b and 69 yo male, I am in for the full 48 weeks. Hopefully I can get a dose reduction in the riba. as the latest Liver Congress in Madrid showed no difference in anaemia treatment on SVR, between dropping riba. or getting Procrit.
Thank God for this forum
