Hahaha. Zombie. Cheesehead. I have felt like this before treatment. Am I alone. I sure hope this goes away with the virus. My son graduates high school in a month and I need to be all there!

Bahahahahaha, ZOMBIES
Shep- zombie princess. gorgeous, none the less i'm sure.
Kelly- Classic!!!
I reversed my car into a building the other day (ever so slowly), punched my cruise control buttons another day(broke them), submitted a report for work (a month late). Generally I feel like a brain dead sloth.
Kiwi- By all means just ask. It's your health, your results!
See, I know I want to say more but I can't think anymore atm so bye for now. AARRGGGHHH

Good job, Kiwi. If you don't ask, you'll never know, they won't either, nothing will change, and it will continue to eat our lunch.
When this is all over, and I loose the tx excuse, I am afraid I am going to have to admit I'm a natural-born for-life cheese head.

Good morning, Kelly. Swiss cheese brain or not, you rule. Week after week you keep plugging along, and now you are down to the wire. Before long this whole thing will be just another accomplishment. We're a strong group of slayers, and a lot of my strength comes from "nose-to-the-grindstone" folks like you who just do it. Good weeks, bad weeks, terrible weeks. Just more knotches on the pistol grip. So next time you go the wrong way out of the doctor's office and end up in the parking lot on the opposite side of the building from your car, smile, put your chin up, and strut right back past that door and wave at everybody inside. Not everybody can do what you are doing.

Went to see my hep nurse today, turned out my appointment was yesterday. They could not reschedule on the spot so I appilogized for being a ditz walked out and turned the wring direction, had to pass the door again and I heard a patient chuckle, don't blame them it was funny looking no doubt but felt like this is all catching up. I think the annoying part for me is when I am at the point where I can say I have one month left, my head tells me it will be a piece of cake the worst is over then I do more Swiss cheese brain stuff... And either sleep 12 hours a night or 4. Anyway just going along. I liked picturing purple ther getting a head rub.

Hey Kiwi I am the zombie princess! Been feeling a bit tired, fatigued and exhausted myself lately. Sat down on the couch the other day & the next thing I knew I was horizontal and stayed that way for an hour. Didn't wanna move, wasn't gonna move and couldn't move.
Had a visit with the ole doc today also--my WBC has dropped --so he reduced my Pegasys. RBC are low but steady and the thyroid is normal again for the 1st time in months!
Hugs to you & Purple

Yeah, kiwi those numbers are a bit low, and would totally explain why you feel drained. It worries me a little that she just read the numbers back, but they are just low, not dangerously low. Hopefully someone is actually watching them.
Give purple a rub on the ears for me. I'm sure she's laying right there.

Kiwi, what are the rules for dispersing lab results in your country. Can you get your copies directly from the lab or does it have to come from the doctor? (It varies here in the the USA depending on the state. In CA they can copy the results to the patient but only with the doctors permission. I have my results faxed to me direct from the lab as soon as they're available.)

Kiwi, my WBC and neutrophils have been bouncing from low to high just about weekly for the last 8 weeks, WBC 1.9-3.1, NEU 0.9-1.9. If I just looked at one lab, think I'd go crazy. Tired enough dealing with the HGB.
'Arent exactly 'hands on'' is a very decent way of describing my providers. I have never been called with results, even the UND's. I have to go in and ask for them, and then watch them dig thru a pile of papers to find them and then just hand them to me, but I continue to show up without fail each week. I honestly believe my dr sees them for the first time at our monthly followup appt, weeks after I get them. Please do get copies of your results. Keeping an eye on the trends has kept me somewhat sane.

Hey kiwi.
I have that feeling too. Like I should be able to be normal.i don't even know what normal should be any more. Feels like I forgot who I used to be.
I'm wondering if anyone is keeping an eye on your labs while nurse is gone. If your counts go too low they want to put you on something to bump them up. I've been on those shots for sometime.
Love the zombie visual. That seems perfect

I'm with you Kiwi! Feeling pretty weak indeed. My neutrophils dropped to .4 this week so dr called me back in for more labs tomorrow. I can't take the interferon until the count goes up. My Hgb went up slightly this week from 9.3 to 9.9 (still low). but starting to feel like the walking dead.
Hang in there!

(lucky my gp nurse just read out the results, no viral load yet either. waiting)
said this before, but thanks everyone, even reading, and learning makes a huge difference...
cheers :)
but when she does get back im gona request a copy of all my results so I can keep an eye on the trends as well.
