Shep, I have flown with pegasus now 5 times and it hasn't ever been a problem. Just tell the TSA rep you are flying with medication, separate it, and you should be fine :) I did have mine in the box so it had my name on it but I don't think they care.
enjoy the travel and bring some advil and a blanket incase you feel sick on the plane...I always freeze and traveling on this stuff takes it out of me.

when i got my pegasys kit it included a little chilli bag and ice pack designed specially for travel... good luck and have heaps of fun... :)

Check TSA website; they tell you the size restriction on icepacks for carry on meds.
Our diabetic friends also have some cool gear for traveling with syringes:
The first on Oegasus/RIBA I traveled w medicine in zippered travel bag
That was mailed to me w instructions and medicine at beginning of my treatment. Just put two ice packs w it!
It traveled well. I carried it like a purse. No

I took mine with me to england. u do not need dry ice. put a couple of ice pks in a lunch pack. make sure to let customs know u have the meds. my 2 cents. that's how I did it.

How long are you going for? I would take whatever i need with me and pack it in dry ice. ( 2 syringes? ) Check with TSA is a great idea. I'm sure they have had this ? a million times. I would not ship anything by mail. Anything can happen. I would bring it with me. My 2 cents. Have fun!

I went home to england 2yrs ago. it can be out of the fridge for 24hrs. put it in a lil lunch pkg with a frozen ice pack. it will be ok. you can take it through security just let them know that you have meds, and take paperwork from your doctor.

Shep, if I were you I would ship the stuff to her Priority Mail and have her keep it in her fridge for you, then fly with only what you need to take during the flight. You probably have enough freezer packs to do the job. Don't miss a chance to see the granddaughter. Alan

that's a very good question, you never know what will be on the "verboten list" from day to day. I would call the TSA office at the airport you're departing from, and ask to talk to a supervisor regarding their policy on possession of hypodermic meds.

Just wondering if anyone has advice or experience with air travel and the meds. My doctor said that maybe --probably--I can visit my daughter & granddaughter in AZ which means flying half way cross country. He wants to check next batch of labs in a couple of weeks before saying for sure. My WBC has dropped & he lowered my Pegasys from 180 to 135.
With airline security the way it is--how to you take meds that need to be kept cool, syringes, etc.? Never had to even think about this before. I really, really want to get away and see that kid!
