The information is clear online that Interferon can cause Peripheral Neuropathy, great. I should mention to my doctor about this next time I see him.

Ever since my first treatment (combo) ten years ago I have noticed that my feet feel somewhat numb and sometimes tingly or a slight burning sensation - mostly at night in bed. Definitely got worse this round, especially when my HGB was at its lowest (8.5 - 10). There were times when I had to hang my feet off the end of the bed because just their pressure on the mattress made then burn. Better now that my HGB is in the mid-10s. My latest odd symptom is that my ears hurt when I lay on my pillow.
There is always something, I'll tell ya..,
I do have prikling in my left ear as well;)

Hi Margo, just to say that it has been mentioned before by various people, either while on tx or post-tx, so there does seem to be a connection. I typed in `tingling` in the search box, at the top of the page, and several previous threads came up, although no definitive answer I`m afraid.
I`ve had tingling in my hands and feet for years, it can be quite uncomfortable at times, I know.

Hi Jill, thanks, I just have to research more about it, I'm sure there is a connection. I was fine before the treatment.

Margo,
I haven't read of tingling in extremities(related to treatment) since I've been on this forum, maybe someone who has experienced this might stop by and comment.

Unlike the central nervous system, the peripheral nervous system can heal- to a certain extent. There are many different causes of PN, as there are many different causes of tingling in fingers & toes, so your condition would have to be evaluated by a doctor.
Best of luck.

There is always something new happening, now it's the tingling in fingers, hand and toes. Ranges from uncomfortable to painful. Makes me pull my hand or leg away like I touched something sharp. Anyone experienced anything like that, any remedies? Doctors don't know what it is.
