Sadly, for many, a positive test means you will never be able to buy health insurance again. Love him or hate him, Obama's healthcare plan saved me and I now have full health insurance for about $300 per month (i'm self-employed). Before that, nothing. And if the supreme court does not overturn it this month, this same plan will make it illegal starting in 2014 for any health insurance company to reject you due to a current or past condition.
people can point out the flaws of obama care all they want, but not being denied for a pre-exisiting condition is a beautiful thing. i'm struggling right now with no health insurance. the only option i currently have is a state insurance program that costs 425 a month and only pays 50% of everything. that may seem decent for some, but i am on unemployment living pretty poor right now.
