It depends in part on how low your hemoglobin level is. I normally test every two weeks except when my hgb is below 10, then I test weekly. And your viral load is usually tested at 4, 12, 24 weeks (plus 3 and 6 months post) or more if you are doing 48 weeks.

During incivek my test were once a week, CBC with diff. Otherwise once a month with the full boat of test. I'm due for week 16 on friday with the full on Viral load, CMP, CBC diff, etc then once a month for the final 8 weeks. UND since week 2.

I get monthly blood tests, but I've been fortunate and have had a pretty smooth ride compared to others. I think if my counts dropped to critically low levels my doc would prob feel the need to check me more often.

You will probably get a normal CBC type of test every two weeks, with additional VL and perhaps thyroid and some other stuff every four weeks. Then a few rounds after Incivek is done, the schedule will be half as often.

How often are you supposed to get your blood test, once you start the triple therapy. Is it weekly or bi-weekly? Does it depend on your doctor?
Thanks everybody for your information.
