Hi and Welcome Marky,
Bit of a strange report. My report says <15 copies, TND. This means I have less than 15 viral elements in my blood, and may have none. I suspect yours means the same. This is GOOD!. It's difficult because there are so many different tests and all give different reports. It would be useful to find out which test they are using- my lab. uses the Roche TaqmanCobas PCR assay.

Hi Marky and welcome
Very strange answers from your doctor and nurse - they don't usually tell you to "google" results or that your results are a "computer glitch" .....
Here are a couple of links that will help explain it
Treating using Incivik. Got my 4 wk results that read:
The result for HCV RNA is below the linear range of the assay which is 15 IU/mL and thus the exact value cannot be calculated.
I need some help fully understanding where my body and this virus are at in their battle. I realize the virus is still detectable --- which is very disappointing --- but by how much? My initial viral load was 6.85 million...but what does 15 IU/mL mean? Does 15 equal 15 here or is really 15 X 100,000??...or some other value? My nurse does not know --- which makes me feel real good about her --- and she told me to google it. My nurse also mentioned that some Dr's believe this result to be a computer glitch and it actually means undetectible. Thanks very much.
