Thanks for the responses. I hadn't thought of the riba since he'd been taken off of it and then put on a half dosage but this started about the time they increased the dosage to 1200 again.
If there is anything good to come of this tx (other than SVR of course!) it's that I've finally gotten him to drink water! Prior to this he thought water was for bathing only. Now he drinks does drink a lot and never craves the soft drinks he used to.

LOL. I hear ya. I drink at least 12 16 oz water bottles over a 17 hour day. Spread out like this it's not as bad as it sounds. I stay thirsty on the meds.

A gallon and a half...you know, I'd surely drown trying to do that; I "slosh" when I walk just on drinking 3 liters!

Has anyone had their skin peel during tx? My husband's hands have been peeling for the past week or 10 days. Backs of the hands, palms, fingers are all peeling. It's very thick, dry skin peeling in large patches. And it's peeling over and over -- not like sunburn where it peels and then heals. We're wondering if it's some result of the horrible rash he had or something new.
On a positive note, the rash is virtually gone with the exception of the huge gashes he clawed out of his arms!
