@Tim: Yes. it feels good to be able hit that dragon with an additional weapon.
@Shep: Yes, ma'am, I am right behind you. Two shots left in the fridge and two cards of RibaPack in the cupboard.
@Malcom: I thank you, sir. I have to take this oppurtunity to tell you how much I enjoy your informative posts. I have learned a lot from you.
@Carl: Aw, shucks. Devil, perhaps, but handsome?
and finally, @Elizabeth, my hero. Thanks so much. And yes, we are hard on ourselves at times. Comes with feeling a little "off", and not being able to do much about it.

Good read Alan, it must be a bit pleasing to be involved in raising public awareness of the dreaded dragon; it's like on a personal level you got to get an extra swing of the sword at the beast!
Enjoy your tingling.

That's a good article. Hopefully it will move others to get tested!
It's also a nice picture. You have more than your share of hair! And like most of us, I think you're being too hard on yourself.
AND congrats on being only 4 weeks from the "finish line"! That's fantastic!

My doctor and I were interviewed a while back for a article in The Sun, our big local paper. This one has been different, because all sorts of people are stopping me in the halls or sending messages to say they read the article. It's scary. Anyway, wanted to share it with you. The photo clearly shows my thinning hair and how the treatment has aged me, but I have nothing to hide from you guys. I think it was a very positive article and hopefully it will convince even one person to go get tested before they get as sick as I was.
Saw the doctor this morning, went over the Week 32 labs, and scheduled the Week 36 labs and my four week post treatment visit. Dude, this is starting to feel like the end. Tingly is the only adjective that describes it.

You can check out the article here:

It is a two-page article so be sure to use the little "previous 1 2 next" doo-dad to get to the second page.
