None of those drugs are used, riba or interferon. It is a different animal altogether called polymerase inhibitor GS-7977, It was used in combination therapy with Bristol Myers HCV protease inhibitor asunaprevir producing a long-term cure for 77% of difficult-to-treat patients. Some of the clinical trials had a 100% cure rate. It was just 2 pills a day. Now Gillead is trying to combine GS 7977 and another drug in to a 1 capsule a day traeatment. They hope for that to be approved by 2014.

(The HCV Coalition for "The Cure".) who originate the Petition against Gilead sends me updates on Progress
I think
They did a good job of stating the reason for the petition up front It's about Gileads greed to have it all while we wait and use Peg-inerferon and Ribaviri.
Website is online NOW. http://hepc-cured.com Is now online for signing the petition However, they are still working out some technical issues, i.e., when I try and post it on Facebook it shows up in Maintenance Mode working on it
It Has a lot of links to right Looks to me like Gilead back pedaling to make there own version of the Daclatasvir ( for marketing ) It appears Gilead's in house equivalant to Daclatasvir is a long way off Late 2014 ( and could fail testing waisting very precious time )
We need to press them The GS-7977 (Gilead) and (Bristol-Myers Squibb) Daclatasvir It is already past stage 2 testing One more stage to FDA approval (( It's almost ready and 90-100% reliable )) Could it be worse that what we are doing right now? I would do it if I could

I signed. If they don't get off their butts, then I think Achillion (or some other enterprising pharmaceutical) is going to eat the apple right off their head and it will be their lose not ours.
