I also lost my front teeth at a hockey rink, becareful, I do not know if there is a conaction but we would not let marry joe play hockey and told her to go home with her cute little bike and basket. That is when me and a friend lost our front teeth and marry became known as passive aggressive marry. She had such a twinkle in her eye when told she could not play hockey, at least I think it was a twinkle or stars, but when I woke I knew the tooth fairy was going to make a visit that night.

Welcome AL.. I was so thirsty I could've drank a lake.. sides as I am sure you've informed yourself differ from each person but there are some pretty common ones. Ask folks on this forum, someone somewhere will have some insight for you on the particular situation .. Great source is the the search button at the top .. All my cousins played local school hockey and a few have their front teeth missing.. Baskets were on the front of our bikes to carry stuff home from the local market.. Wishing you the best on round 2.. MJ

No the ritual is at 3 years old and includes both girls and boys, it is at that great age and time that they are presented with their first hockey stick. The Basket what ever do not understand the only baskets we use is at age 6 when every child boy or girl is carried off into the woods to fight black flies, bears and ground wasps to fill their first iconic blue berrry basket.

Amazing, three Canadians and not one hockey reference. Im taking my 3yr old grandson to his first Snowplow Sam skating lesson tomorrow.
Ive heard that in Canada there is a rite of passage ritual, where each 4yr old child is placed between a hockey stick and a basketball. And if they even think about picking up the basketball, someone checks him with the stick? True or False?
