When you say you are Stage 4, this means you have cirrhosis. It's a bit unusual in a 43 yo female. I guess you had a liver biopsy to determine this. Good luck with treatment.

Thank you, all of you for info. I am 43 and will start treament may14 my doctor is Dr.lynn Frazier out little rock. I have to travel 3 hours every other month I will be taking the triple treatment of Incivek.Peginterferon.Ribavirin. I am little scared because I don't like being sick. My sister is going thru chemo for breast cancer right now and they say its kinda like that. I have become depressed because its hard to see her go thru this. I can only trust that God will get us thur this trial. He is my only HOPE. I am glad you all are here. Its nice to know when someone else can share and know what it really feels like. Thanks alot!

Hi Anita and welcome. You found the right place to be. You'll find a wealth of knowledgeable and helpful members.
A bit more info would be helpful to give you better info. VL, genotype and treatment you will be taking.
Each trratment has different side effects and not everyone experiences the same effects.
Age seems to be one of the biggest factors. The younger you are the better. Make sure to drink lots of water.
We have people undergoing all different treatments including some of the newer drug trials. Good luck and don't worry.
