Eight up towards week 8 blood tests which are due next Tuesday.
right up to today it is definitively not as simple as I thought.
my mind is in a really mess, and I can hardly sleep three hours at night.
I feel angry towards everyone and everything and smetimes I really feel it is time to enter my cloud and lock me in.
worse of it is that my heart is really pushing it hard and I quite often feel like it will came out from my shoulders .
doctors told me to check out for Tyrodes Values but they seem to be ok.
RIBA collaterals or just stressed Italian fourty man ?
btw the week 1 blood results were good but no other results were given.
hope to get some more stuff next Tuesday ..... Towards the end....

Hi Shadow, sorry to hear you`re having a rough time. I must say this sounds like typical riba side effects, and maybe a little stress on top. Try and set aside some time each day to relax and unwind, and do your best to avoid situations which are going to cause you stress, if that`s possible. I remember feeling just the same when I was on my peg/riba treatment, I know how it feels!
I`m not sure what you mean by `Tyrodes Values`, are you talking about your thyroid levels?
Not too much longer for you now anyway, are you doing 12 weeks? Best of luck with your results when you get them!

Hi Shadow,
day 10 and the only SX is a little bit itching. I know I am not on placebo. I started on april 15 from 10.5 Millionen and the decrease was to 1148 on day 4.
Up to the result i was sure I am on placebo. An other person, starting mid march told me, he is only more aggressive than before, and he knows also, he is not on placebo.
There is a real chance to be not in placebo without SX.

So no SX at all.
Once in a while I feel a bit hot in my hands... that's all for now.
oh yes...there one thing: I missed my 12 hours appointment with the pills... and didnt have time to have dinner before them..... so I swallowed them all without food and told myself: If I feel stomachache it will mean I'm not on placebo.....
Two hours passed..... and I still feel ok.
My coordinator emailed me this afternoon and asked about SX..... I told her: Hey you, you gave me the worng ones, but she replied she hasn't got everyone on the trial to report SX.....
May I'm still into it and this will mean these drugs will change the world.

Not for any side effects but for feelings and emotions.
day one today: blood drawn and EKG plus a few papers to sign.
in the end I got my one month collection of pills, and two cans of rbv which for someone who had asked, in my case are grey.
as far as now, after 6 hours from first 6 pills, no side effects at all. Not even fatigue or whatever....
coordinator says that if we got real drugs and not placebo, viral load should be negative by three days but we won't know it until the end of the first three months.....

Abbott is very strict but they let you do one retest if you are close to their pre determined qualifing numbers.
Your study coordinator has a special insert from her study book that lists Abbotts requirements of the blood work. I had to ask her for a copy of it.
I always thought it was a good idea to know my own Blood labs before I went to get tested.
In the states (US) we can walk into a local lab have our blood drawn and secure our own data without having to go through a Doctor.
But now you just have to wait, can you secure your own lab data somewhere?
It might be helpful because, the results of blood work can vari from day to day and site to site.
Anyway wish the best for you.
