And the best news I received was today when I was reading that AbbVie has had this regiment of drugs approved for fast tract so I am hoping that this might speed up the process for all of you.
Great news, i agree with Zlikster, never do these again.

Amazing!!! Exercise and therapy! No way on interferon could I exercise. So happy for your progress. As Malcolm stated interferon is rough and I just finished 48 weeks of it as I am cirrhotic. Thanks for the Encouraging news!!

That is incredible. Your liver is getting such a break already. I had a friend who's platelets stayed up the whole time. I'm glad to hear you are up walking and staying as active as possible. I love this news! Karen:)

Hi Terry,
Great results! It's great to see a cirrhotic doing 24 weeks instead of 48. You did a wise thing avoiding Interferon. Best of luck for the rest of Rx.

What a great start,Terry, how encouraging! Interesting about the blood tests on the first day, and I`m amazed you got those results back so quickly. Wow, these are powerful drugs! Let us know about your week 2 results...best of luck! ~ Jill
By the way, you could post your updates all on the same thread if you like, so we can follow your progress more easily.

Hi Terry...Amazing stuff. In one week on Gilead trial mine went from 16.5 ml to 297. Cannot wait to see what happens in week two...Hoping it continues in the same direction...I am also on 24 weeks.

Well Friday I got my first results from the first week on the Abbott trial and I started with a viral load of 4 Million and as of friday I was down to 480. So took the time to play a round of golf and a Baseball game in the same day. A few small headaches but the rest has been fine and starting to feel stronger. Most of my reading were normal and my platelet count has gone up a bit. I have a my meal wait a half an hour take the pills then wait half an hour and go for a brisk walk and partial jog. Seems to be working so far. What I found out was that at your first day you take your dose and wait two hours and take your blood test and my load went from 4 Mil to 2Mil in those two hours. Kinda sounds to good to be true but I am doing this for 24 weeks so long way to go yet. So I will post with week two in two weeks.
