Hi Rose, welcome from me too! You`ll find this forum a great help and support, and I`m sure you`ll soon be speaking our language!
Have a look round and you`ll see we have a section for people who are on trials, `Clinical Trial Participants`, so do feel free to start a new thread (topic) there. Another of our members is also going through the preliminary procedures before starting this same Gilead trial.
All the best of luck, this will be a very good trial to get onto. Keep in touch, and if you have any questions just ask...we`re a very friendly and relaxed group here.
Hope you have a good weekend too! ~ Jill
ps - Love your avatar photo... not quite the yellow rose of Texas, rather more apricot! Very pretty..

Hi Rose,
Welcome to the Forum. Your biopsy was obviously OK and you're not cirrhotic otherwise you wouldn't be considered for ION-3. That's a good Trial, so good luck.
The Forum Abbreviations we use are in a Sticky in the New Members area, so you'll soon understand our special language. Hope you do well. Cheers.

Hello Rose. Sorry for your diagnosis, but we are coming on some very exciting times in HVC treatment. There are some good RX's on the market now but there looks to be some really great ones on the horizon. It sound like you've got yourself into a trail of one of theses very promising RX's. Good luck and keep us posted.

Greetings, what a warm and welcoming place you guys have created here.I feel so fortunate to have found it.Im Rose from TX ~
I wish 2012 had given me warning that 2013 was going to be a life changer. It Started with a routine physical in Jan --> HepC diagnoses in Feb--> liver bio in March -->Today -->clinical screening for ION-3 Gilead trial. And I still don't know the lingo to hold an intelligent conversation.
I'm happy to be here, makes me feel a more grounded. Looking forward learning how to Speak HepC.
