Hi Sandy, yes, that`s exactly what I thought you meant.  You can`t actually get rid of them, but they`re nothing to worry about, they`re just a feature of the forum.  They are there to give you the option of `tagging or `labelling` the new topic (thread) with a subject title, according to what the topic is about.  If you click on the icon you should see a little box open up, which is where you could type something if you wanted to.

I can see them on the first post of every thread, but I expect they are all visible to me because I`m one of the forum admin team and so have different settings.

     the icon i see looks like a yellowish tag you'd see on a piece of clothing at the store.

it's located to the right whenever i start a new topic. also it never disappears and noone

else's new topic posts are decorated with this icon. actually it's still enhancing my

introductory post. it just seems strange and i'd love to have it removed

does anyone know why there's a strange yellowish icon by some of my postings? what does it mean? how can i delete it for i don't seem to see it elsewhere.

Hi Sandy, could you tell me whereabouts you can see the strange icons?  Do you mean the little `tag` signs on the bottom right hand side below some of your posts?  If that`s what you mean then it`s nothing to worry about, everyone has one of those whenever they start a new thread, just underneath the first post.
