Hi Suzi,
Thanks for your kind words. I hope that your coordinator prediction becomes true. We will see. Please keep inform us about you.
I very sympathize with the Merck compony working without making a big noise, may be there therapy will be the winner.

Dear Matt,
Your advice just came in time. I was thinking wich supplement should i take. The only alternative treatment what I tried it was the Sylibin phitosome ( sylimarine product). It was told to have some scientific evidence. Several product was told to be useful for liver and `hep `C virus. Several times I ordered it and the end I did not dare to take it. So I have lot of unnecessary product in my desk. I still tired by the afternoons so no danger to overload myself with good programs. I still work 20 hours in a week- it is highly enough.
Thanks

Hey Veronika
Congrats on your making it to your last week, you are well on your way to many more good days. With your early 2 week UND status your odds are greater than most in acheiving SVR.
Best advice IMO try not to burden yourself with extra social schedule and your body with extra supplements. (My mistake) Let your body settle in with its new dynamic and take over its normal functions.
Hoping the best for you.

Hi Veronika,
Congratulations!!!! Now you get to face the major side effect of the new treatments--Waiting for final results. Definitely causes anxiety!!!
I am in week 9 of Merck trial. Was UND at week 4--don't have week 8 results yet. The previous Merck trial showed great results at the Liver conference. The new trial I am on tests cirrhotics, null responders and those with HIV.
My coordinator, who works with several drug companies at the study center, said with the new meds that once someone is UND the chances are very high that they will be SVR. Hope she is right for both of us.

Hi everybody,
I finished yesterday the 12 weeks treatment of Abbvie Malachit . Now the countdown for SRV starting. As far as I checked my chance is 90% to forget the Hep C. Much better than win the lottery.
Early this week from Nov 1-5 was held on the AASLD annual congress in Washington. Most of the abstract focused on new treatment option of Hep C. Quite promising data . If you have time check it.

Dear Matt,
Thank you so much for your help. It is really strange sometimes that I wake up with full of energy and by 2 pm. I feel like an empty battery. I work once a week late afternoon . But anyway I don't mind being down temporally if the drug will kill all the viruses. This one is my third series of treatment. The two previous failed to have permanent effect. The virus returned after as soon as the treatment was finished.

Hi Veronika There shows two arms to that study but assuming you are on the arm A you would be taking the ABT450r/267 , ABT333 and The Ribavirin. I am on the Abbvie turquoise II 24 week with the same drugs and not to worry the Ribavirin does wear you down and make you very tired at times. Try and get as much sleep as you can because that sure helps with the side effects. Take care Terry

Hello Veronika
Welcome to the forum you have found a good place.
Its good to hear your received UND at weeks 2 & 4 , that is a very good indicator for success.
As far being tired in the afternoon this is a common issue with the Abbvie combo drugs. I was on the same treatment and I generally had a tired feeling later in the day so don't worry about that. These Abbvie drugs are much easy on the body with a lot less side effects than standard care with Interferon.
Keep up the good results , all the best
Matt

I finish the 42. day of treatment today, being on Malachit II study ( 12 weeks of Abbvie combination for previously non-responders). I got the UND result at week 2 and 4. However I don't have significant anemia I feel very tired by afternoon. Is it common side effect or I am to sensitive and looking myselt too carefully?
