Welcome to the Forum. You've landed on a great spot. Wonderful support.
It's good you're getting this done early. The younger the better. The search feature here, works great when you have questions.
Best to you, Kellie

Hi Tim, and welcome to the forum. I`m glad you`ve found us, you`ll get all the support you need here as well as plenty of helpful tips for dealing with side effects.
Have you discussed your treatment options with your medical team yet, in other words, do you know which treatment drugs you`ll be doing? And when you say you have stage 2 `cirrhosis` do you mean stage 2 `fibrosis`? Sorry for the questions!
It`s natural to be feeling scared at this point but try not to take too much notice of any horror stories you come across, you`ll find it a lot more helpful to read about our members` own personal experiences. Going through treatment can be hard going, but the side effects do vary quite a lot from person to person, and you are still relatively young compared to a lot of us here, which should help.
Please feel free to ask any questions you have, this a very friendly and helpful group!

Greetings
I recently made the decision to start treatment. I got the results of my biopsy, Hep C genotype 1...Stage II Cirrosis. Happy to find a support network and I'm sure i'll be using you guys advice alot. I'm scared to death from all the horror stories I've heard about treatment but I'm 38 years old with a 7 year old daughter so I have to do all that I can to beat this thing. Thanks and prayers for all that are here or that are suffering thru this.
