Hi Yvonne, welcome from me too. Sounds like you`ve got off to a good start to your treatment so far with minimal side effects (sx), that must have been a relief! Not everyone suffers from severe sx, it does vary quite a lot from person to person, but that`s not to say you won`t experience more as you go along. Some people find that fatigue becomes more pronounced later in treatment, as well as feelings of irritation and general apathy, and that applies to whichever drug combo you`re doing, but you could be lucky!
Good luck, keep us posted!

Hi Yvonne,
Welcome to the Forum. As the others have said, we can't help much without additional information. Good luck with treatment. Cheers.

Are you on 2 drug or 3 drug combo? And if 3, which 3? There are lots of people here that have done every type of treatment. If we know exactly which treatment you're on, the better advice you'll get.

Welcome Yvonne! I'm interested to know more about your treatment as well. What drugs are you taking? They don't generally treat GT 1 (a or b?) with combo (dual) therapy anymore. Are they planning on adding a third drug in 4 weeks (Victrelis)? If you can share some of your history, as Mark mentioned we'll be able to provide much better advice. Things like blood tests and biopsy results really tell us a lot about your liver health. Everyone handles the side effects differently. Your age and the current health of your liver make a big difference. Of course the exact mix of medication taken will determine many of the side effects experienced. Keep us informed and don't hesitate to ask questions. Be sure you take advantage of the "Search" function at the top of the page. Good luck!

I am genotype 1, VL of 7,700,000 on combo treatment. I took my first shot two days ago, and other than a headache I feel fine. Is this the honeymoon period??
