I wasn't a member back in August, so I missed your post. I have read ALL your posts since I joined--don't think that I have missed one. Love your knowledge and style!! Of course, my memory is not as good as some of the "youngsters" here so I might not remember all you say. Can I blame that on the ribavirin????
I just happened to be looking for a trial for a friend in California yesterday and saw the clinical trial and got very excited about it so I shared it. Had read somewhere about it being studied at Duke University. Was amazed that it is setting up a Phase 1 trial so quickly. The drug companies are really moving fast on their new discoveries for treating Hep C.
Did you post an article about reversing fibrosis ??? Read one somewhere.

Hi SuziQ,
I discussed this one back on August 26. It uses TT-034, developed by an Australian Company, Benitec Pharma. It'll be interesting.
i'm almost done w/ 6 months of tx and am so sick of sx on a daily basis.
maybe they can speed up the clinical process for this med.

Thanks for posting that information. How great something like that would be for everyone affected by this. This is certainly something we should all keep our eye on! Can you imagine ONE dose? Wow!

Just happened to see a new clinical trial for the latest new innovation while cruising thru clinicaltrials.com for a friend.
It is trial # NCT 01899092. It is a first time trial on people. Check it out and dream of what may be possible. I had only read about it as a Duke University study.
These new meds are getting more and more exciting for us!!!!
