If your not on any treatment yet, and you won't to do something about this right away because you are impatient and just need to feel like your doing something about it. Something that is relay helpful. Try this.. Once you start taking the Med's you have to stop taking this, because it will water down the drugs. so NOT WILE ON TREATMENT but before and defiantly after.
There is nothing on this planet that offers the amazing variety of healing benefits granted by aloe vera. In a single plant, aloe vera offers potent, natural medicine that:
Halts the growth of cancer tumors. Lowers high cholesterol. Repairs "sludge blood" and reverses "sticky blood". Boosts the oxygenation of your blood. Eases inflammation and soothes arthritis pain. Protects the body from oxidative stress. Prevents kidney stones and protects the body from oxalates in coffee and tea. Alkalizes the body, helping to balance overly acidic dietary habits. Cures ulcers, IBS, Crohn's disease and other digestive disorders. Reduces high blood pressure natural, by treating the cause, not just the symptoms. Nourishes the body with minerals, vitamins, enzymes and glyconutrients. Accelerates healing from physical burns and radiation burns. Replaces dozens of first aid products, makes bandages and antibacterial sprays obsolete. Halts colon cancer, heals the intestines and lubricates the digestive tract. Ends constipation. Stabilizes blood sugar and reduces triglycerides in diabetics. Prevents and treats candida infections. Protects the kidneys from disease. Functions as nature's own "sports drink" for electrolyte balance, making common sports drinks obsolete. Boosts cardiovascular performance and physical endurance. Speeds recovery from injury or physical exertion. Hydrates the skin, accelerates skin repair.
Welcome from me as well. At your age you should not have significant liver damage. HepC is very treatable these days so don't worry too much.
Do you know your Viral Load? New treatments are about to be approved for Geno 1a, so your chances of clearing the virus have never been better. Cheers.

Welcome Marshall from Colorado. I think you will find the information and support here very helpful on your HepC journey. I was in a state of shock for months after my diagnosis. It is good to have others who are going through the same experiences to talk to. :)

Welcome Marshall - I also am near end of treatment and have received much help from the forum - I look at this group as my friends who care about each other through the common bond of a horrible disease. I lived in Westminster Colorado for about thirty years - am now retired in AZ - love Colorado and would love to be there right now instead of the 107 deg we are having today!

Welcome Marshall,
I'm sure you will get plenty of answers here. Please add your info to your signature which appears under your user profile. Add your genotype, any treatment you are on, your viral load, your age and any liver damage You have. That way everyone will see it on your posts and will be able to address any questions. This forum has been a lifesaver for me. There are lots of Genotype 1s here as it's a common type. There are many members going through or have been through different treatments so they are very knowledgeable. The new drugs are working very fast and are effective. I recently finished 12 weeks of sovaldi and ribavirin and am waiting to do my final labs at the end of the year. I'm glad you found us and I'm sure you will find the support and knowledge you are seeking here.
Good luck and just ask your questions, someone will have an answer for you or be able to find one.
