Congrats on finishing your trial!!! Went in to my trial center yesterday for first follow-up appointment. Had my first HCC scan as well. I have been UND for a year now--SVR since July. My coordinator said she had 25 on your trial and only 5 were on placebo. I did ask about your enzymes going down. She said that probably meant you were on meds BUT she is very cautious about telling HER trial participants that it meant they were on the meds or UND. However, she is very enthusiastic about Merck. Like Malcolm said, Merck is not very forthcoming with information on their trials.
Glad you had few sides. Think mine were caused by riba. Just waiting to hear UND from you.

Since it was a blinded clinical trial, I couldn't see the viral load. I should know in 1-2 weeks, however my liver enzymes went way down.

Well done, Marcy. :)
Perhaps the C-EDGE results will be presented at the AASLD liver conference in Boston in November. Anyone interested in the results from the C-WORTHY trial can click here:
Congrats on getting to the end. I don't understand why Merck are so silent about this combo. They must have some C-EDGE results by now, so why don't they publish them?
From C-WORTHY, your SVR chances are >90%. Good luck.

Thanks everyone! Whatever the outcome, I am super grateful to have been part of such a wonderful supportive group. Only people who have walked in the same shoes as others can truly understand what they go thru. SVR or not...it's all been a blessing.
Thanks again!

Wow Marcy, that's great that you experienced almost no Sx's during Tx.
I hope Gator Man's Johnny Carson / Carnac performance turns out to be true.

Going into the trial center today for my last pill. This is the Merck C-Edge 1 pill, 2 drug combo. I have to say the whole thing has been a breeze with almost no side effects. I should know in a couple of weeks my VL. Cautiously optimistic.
