Update on my clnical trial results (SVR24) 6 months post treatment 7-7-15 Still Undedected. Pretty amazing! They say I am cured. ALT still 43 but AST has gone up from 37 to 53 which is a little high. They say it might be from my Arthritis medicine, Arthrotec, which I resumed taking since last blood draw in April. It was suggested to stop it again and allow my liver to continue to heal. Also my cholesteral is still a little high, 225. Starting to get my energy back and my husband says my eyes look really clear. So grateful for this trial.

Welcome Ragdoll. Excited to see more Topaz II folks. When I first came here I was the only one. There was one other that hadn't been on for a little bit and should be finished by now. Then LC came on and now you. I finish week 9 tomorrow and only have three left. If you aren't taking the Riba you should absolutely sail through this. Even on Riba it isn't bad at all. If I can help in any way, please let me know.

Hi Ragdoll! Glad to see more Topaz II members. I haven't really seen any side effects either, other than being a bit more tired the first few days. I think my body was battling the virus hot and heavy about then. Good stuff isn't it?

Hi, I have just completed 7 days of treatment today and am pleasantly surprised that I have had absolutely no side effects. I just feel like I am taking a few more vitamins. It is truly amazing. I thank God for this opportunity to be in this trial. I was very hesitant to start this as when I got the call I was just 4 weeks post hip replacement surgery. I didn't think I could handle the treatment after watching what my husband ( Robertsamx) had gone thru earlier this year with his treatment with Gilead which turned out not successful. Also, I am very sensitive to drugs and had bad reaction to a Tetanus shot several years ago. But the clinic and my doctors along with my husband encouraged me that this was the best thing for me to do and not to worry. I am so glad I took their advise. I hope the next 11 weeks are as easy as this first week. I go for my 2 week check up next week. We shall see how this treatment is working.
