Zlikster I was told that Daclatasvir+Sovaldi+Riba was not approved for GT3 in US . I am keeping track of the GS-5816 study and hope to see it approved also the Filter treatments in conjunction with RX treatment. I think no matter what the weight loss is in my best interest so I can't go wrong with that. Hope you can get the Sovaldi Riba treatment and it works for you. When I see my Gastro Dr. again I want to ask about getting into clinical trials . My pre TX was I was diagnosed in 2003 VL 83000 Biopsy was done showed no damage was told treatment could be worse that condition so I waited till now and failed the 24 week Sovaldi Riba course tested 220,000 VL after 12 weeks post completion. Pre treatment VL 2013 was 2,000,000.

Thanks for the link...
I have failed Interferon+Riba (tho i was almost RVR), but i am slim/skinny, yet liver is a bit fatty...all cause of GT3's liver munching fatty cells making capabilities :/
Don't loose hope. Seems that GS-5816+Sovaldi+Riba is the thing for us GT3s. In meantime are u eligible for Daclatasvir+Sovaldi+Riba? Daclatasvir has been approved in EU i think. If not try to nail some clinical trial :)
Mind you posting your details pre tx, during tx, post tx? I am trying to obtain Sovaldi somehow and do 24w of it with Riba.
thanks!

I found this article that I believe helps explain why I failed to achieve SVR after 24 weeks of SVLD/RBVRN treatment. I have IR and Steatosis . At the present time I am working on getting my weight down to hopefully reduce my Steatosis and improve my IR. I am down from a high of 275 pounds a year and a 1/2 ago too 243 pounds with my goal of being 225 pounds or below six months from now. I have also had problems with my triglycerides and I believe all three problems are tied to my GT3 virus. This article points toward this and sheds light on why they could have effected my treatment. Never give up.
