I wonder what the over top Bonuses will be for the top execs of Gilead? Whom ever made the decision to over pay for the Pharmasset Sofosbuvir is due for a major bonus.
The old saying "its takes spending money to make money rings true in this case with Gilead" hopefully Gilead will fully develop all the HCV treatments to each 100% SVR for all Gene Types in the coming years as well as HBV they certainly have the money to do so.
I personally would like to Gilead institute a program for patients that have relapsed on there drugs to be retreated at no charge when a newer better version is released, it would go a long way in providing good will towards the HCV market and its patients.

Thanks Jill,
Good grief.....I'm really crying in my fake beer over their trouble finding ways to spend all that money! How about some sort of dividend program for all of the HCV patients that ultimately made them rich? They could take a couple billion dollars of that money and make some people that suffered through trials, treatments, and tests very happy. I'm glad they have been so successful, but it came at a high cost for many and money wasn't their ultimate goal. But nonetheless, we are grateful for their accomplishments...

Interesting article from the New York Times, if anyone would like to read it.
I had to smile at this sentence at the end..."Gilead now is faced with figuring out what to do with all the cash it is generating." My heart bleeds for them!
Thanks Jill
